When wondering what i would do today, the King appeared. I hadn't seen him since the hall

Tamir : "I've been gone for some time and have not been able to check on you. How is life in the palace?
            Nothing unpleasant?"
Yuki  : "No, they're taking good care of me"
Tamir : "really? I've heard my sons have done well, too and that you're close to Lambert.. Do you intend
           to make him King?"
Yuki   : "huh..?"
Tamir : "No? Ivan told me you finished your 'skinship' though?"
Yuki   : "T-That,,,"
Tamir : "well so long as you are getting along. the longer you are together, the better you'll get to know each
            other and if he doesn't your favor, then we know what kind of man he is. Regardless of position,
            a man unable to win favor cannot be king"

His words made me feel the weight of my responsibility again

Tamir : "or you could be king. I wouldn't mind that. if that's no good, you could be my 100th member of the
            harem"
Yuki : "I wouldn't like either.."

When i murmured that the king laughed

Tamir : "Lambert should be in his room. I heard he's free today so you should be able to talk. How about
            going?"

I nodded deeply and headed toward prince Lambert's room

Lambert : "..you? what're you here for?"

Curt as always. But because of the bath, he didn't just throw me out

Lambert : "I'm finally able to relax today. It's the first in weeks. To come push your way into my room when
                i'm enjoying my break..you must have a good reason, yes?"

yuki       :"Please allow me to help with some of your work"
Lambert : "Work? i don't think there's anything you could do"
Yuki      : "I could straighten up your documents"

It's a speciality of mine from work, i say, clenching a fist

Lambert : "Oh ho.. Aren't you confident. Interesting. Then if i have a job you could do, i'll call you. Show
                me your skill then"
Yuki      : "yes!"
Lambert : "So, did you decide on your reward?"
Yuki       : "Reward?"
Lambert : "The script. I said i'd make you take a reward, didn't i?I haven't had time to ask, but if you know,
                 tell me, I'll have it prepared"

(..Ah!) I thought of a plan

Yuki      :"does it have to be a thing?"
Lambert : "No. but.. if it's not a thing, then an animal?"
Yuki      : "no.."

i replied honestly, i want to know about you, so let me spend this day with you

Lambert : "..."

(g-guess it was a bit too much!)

Lambert : "Does that mean.. you want to spend the night with me?"
Yuki      :"!?"
Lambert : "Pretty forward for a commoner. alright. I wanted to talk to you more anyway. so this makes it
                easier. Luckily, i have no plans until tomorrow morning. so.. first, shall we talk in the bath again?
               and it's fine if you're shy today. we have all the time in the world"

he took it the wrong way and i was left speechless-and then he laughed

Lambert  :"don't blush so. It's a joke, duh. If you can't take a joke this small, you won't make it with the
                 royal family. well, to me, it's a new reaction so it's fun, but.."

(..he's laughing) he can joke.. My heart quickened at seeing an unexpected side to him

Nath : "..Hey, why are you still in the room?"

Mike : "...."

Nath : "How about work tomorrow?Didn't you say you had a big meeting?"

Mike : "..."

Nath : (Really, what's up with Mike?And it's sort of embarrassing to stay like this..)

Currently, i was sitting on Mike's lap and being hugged from behind

Nath : (Even Though he usually returns to his room once it's past ten even if the meeting starts late..)

Today, Mike didn't return to his room and kept on hugging me

Mike : "You've forgotten what's going to happen the next four days, haven't you"

Nath : "eh?"

Mike : "Or are you saying that even though you remember?Am i the only one who feels like this?"

Nath : "S-sorry. What's happening tomorrow? I don't understand at all.."

Even when i looked at the calendar, there wasn't really anything written on it

Nath : (if anything's happening, i write it on the calendar, and i shouldn't have forgotten it..)

Mike : ".."

Nath : "Sorry, i can't remember. What have i forgotten?"

Mike : "...for four days starting tomorrow, Robert and most of the maids will be going on holiday"

Nath : "Ah, I do remember Robert saying there would only be a few maids left..but what about it?"

Mike : "No, their holiday isn't the problem"

Nath : "...Sorry, i don't get what you're trying to say..."
Mike : "..Every year, when Robert takes his holiday, that fussy woman comes"

Nath : "Fussy..are you talking about Taeko?"

Mike : "...Yeah"

Nath : "you can't talk about her like that..Taeko would be really mad if she heard, you know?"

Taeko was the old lady who always came to the estate as a caretaker when Robert and most of the maids went on holiday

Nath : (She was introduced to me as one of Father's old acquaintances)

For better or worse, Taeko was a traditional woman, which might have been why Mike couldn't help finding it hard to deal with her

Nath : (She never treats us pecial because we're member of the Jones Family, and she's even told father off. 

           maybe because Mike's known Taeko longer than i have, he finds her hard to handle, but..I don't 

           mind Taeko)

Mike : "Don't misunderstand me , okay?it's not that i'm saying i don't want Taeko to come"

Nath : "eh? then what's the problem?"

Mike : "...Taeko doesn't know that we're dating. She probably doesn't watch the news either, so she won't 

          know about the fuss with the engagement. If Taeko comes, we'll have to act as bother and sister"

Nath : "ah.."

Mike : "it'd be fine if we couold explain it to her properly , but.. so she's so inflexible.."

Nath : "..so are you staying so long here tonight because Taeko is coming tomorrow?"

Mike : "yeah"

Nath : (Oh, so what Mike was asking earlier was if he was the only one who felt lonely..)

Mike : "So ready yourself for tonight, okay?"

Nath : "eh, w-wait! you have a meeting tomorrow, right?!"

Mike : "That's not a problem. For me, the fact that i won't be able to touch you for four days starting tomorrow is more important"

Mike kissed me again and again

Mike : "So, i'll get four days worth of touching you now"

Nath : (w-what kind of reasoning is that!?)

I wanted to protest, but i felt delirious from Mike's passion and couldn't string words together properly

Taeko : "Sir, Mistress Nath, it has been a loong time since we last met"

The next morning, Taeko come to the estate at seven

Nath   : (Taeko has always been classy)

Taeko : "Originally, i should have arrived slightly earlier, however.."

Nath   : (Ah, that was close. If she had come a bit earlier, she would have seen Mike in my room..)

No, worse than that, she might have seen use when we were still stark naked

Mike :"we're not children any more, so you didn't really have to come.."

Mike looked away from Taeko and said that with a sigh

Nath : "M-mike! saying something like that is rude to Taeko!"

I hurriedly elbowed Mike, but it was already too late. Taeko was listening closely to our conversation and glaring at us sharply

Nath   : (wow, Mike is definitely going to get a sermon)

Taeko : "though i had been looking forward to meeting the two of you again..to have that said to me, by

             the present head of the jones family, no less.."

Mike   : "...m-my bad. sorry. I wanted to see you, Taeko"

Taeko : "it is troubling to have you try to deceive me now"

Mike   : "..."

Taeko : "however, seeing the two of you has given me peace of mind"

Nath   : "eh?"

Taeko : "as people age, seeds of discord can grow even between siblings. The two of you appear to be 

             on good terms still. It makes me very happy to see that"

Mike   : "..."

Nath   : "..."

Taeko's words struck close to my heart

Nath : (It'd be fine if we just told her we aren't siblings..)

When i glanced at Mike, who was standing next to me, he also had a difficult expression on his face,like he was thinking the same things as i was

Mike : "so not touching you at all was something this painful"

In the evening, after Mike returned from work, he hugged me from behind

Nath    : "h-hey! Taeko will see!"

Mike   : "it's fine. Taeko went to the living room earlier.."

Taeko : "Sir, Mistress Nath! what are you doing!?"

When we heard Taeko's voice from behind us, boyh me and Mike stiffened

Taeko : "I am asking what you two siblings are doing!"
Nath   : "Eh? U-um, this is.." (What should we do!  can't thinking of a good excuse!)

Mike  : "w-we're.. pretending to wrestle"

Nath   : "..ow, i-it hurts..."

Taeko : "..pretending to wrestle?..even though you clearly appear to be embracing?"

Mike   : "there's no way we'd do that, right? we've been targeted just for being a part of the jones family, so we are both praticing just in case"

Nath : (Mike, that's so forced it hurts.. and actually, it really doesphysically hurt!!)

Taeko : "I see.. it was a misunderstanding. Please excuse me. However, for two siblings who are fully grown to pretend to wrestle.."

Nath : "w-we'll make sure not to do something like this again. we won't do anything to sully the jones name!"

Taeko : "..I would like to believe that"

Taeko still looked suspicious as the headed for the living room

Nath : (I don't think she completely believed us, but anyway, it's lucky we got away with that..)

Mike : "I'll go to your room when Taeko isn't here"

Nath : "..hey"

Mike said that as he went and left me in the hallway by myself

Taeko : "well, are these sorts of things popular recently"

I heard Taeko speak so i turned to look at the TV

"Forbidden Love! what will be the course of this love which cannot be forgiven!? " was displayed in big letters do the screen

Taeko : "For heaven's sake. A marriage between an older brother and his younger sister.. it could never

             be forgiven!"

Mike   : "..."

Nath   : "..."

I knew Taeko didn't mean anything in particularly by that-I knew that, but..

Nath : (But when she says it like that, it's painful, like she's opposing the relationship between Mike and me..)

Mike : "Damn, it's worse than having the guards around.."

(At night, Mike came to my room and flopped himself down on the sofa with a sigh)

Mike : "It's still the first day of Taeko's stay here, you know? I'm worried that my reason will just burn out

            in the remaining three days"

Nath : "Mike..."

Mike : "But.. it's a bit mysterious now that Taeko's here and we're acting like sibling again"

Nath : "eh?"

Mike : "I can't recall how i used to control my feelings for you before at all"

Nath : "..mike"

It was the same for me

Nath : (I didn't think not being touched or kissed by Mike would be so lonely..)

As if we were both being drawn in, our faces were close, when..

thump thump thump thump..

Nath : "Footsteps? it couldn't be.."

The footsteps stopped in front of my room, and at the same time, there was the sound of a knock

Taeko : "Mistress Nath, do you know where Sir is?He is not in his room"

Nath : (S-so it is Taeko!?)

Taeko : "..? Mistress Nath ? I will be coming in now then?"

Taeko : "Sir!? why are you in Mistress Nath's room?"

Nath   : "T-that's.."

Taeko : "I thought the same things this evening, but could the two of you perhaps be.."

Mike   : "I came to pick up a book"

Mike took a book from beside my bed and stood up

Mike   : "It's not that i have a lot of free time, but i thought i'd read when i do have some time to spare. 

             I looked for it in library, but i couldn't find it, so i came to ask Nath about it"

Nath   : "T-that's right. The book big brother was looking for was in my room.."

Taeko : "..is that so?However, Mistress Nath is a grown woman. it is rude of you to be visiting her at such 

              a time"

Mike   : "ah sorry, i'll reflect on that, so forgive me"

Taeko : "..."

Nath   : "Taeko? what's wrong?"

Taeko : "Mistress Nath, while i am staying at the estate..would you allow me to stay in your room?"

Nath   : "eh!?"

Taeko : "there are many things i would like to discuss with you, though i will restrain myself if it would

             inconvenience you.."

Nath   : "n-no.. it's not an inconvenience at all! i want to talk with you too, Taeko.."

Taeko : "thank you for your kind words. Then sir, would you please return to your room?"

Mike   : "o-okay.."

For three days after that, i spent most of my time with Taeko and couln't even talk properly with Mike

Nath : (today is the day Taeko is leaving)

It wasn't something i should say, but i wanted to talk with Mike soon

Nath : (Since Taekow ould speak to me whenever i approached Mike, I couldn't talk to him at all..)

I didn't think Taeko meant any harm, but.. i felt a bit sad since it felt like she was speaking up with just the right timing to interrupt me

Mike   : "Nath, i've already reached my limit"

Nath   : "eh?"

Taeko : "Oh, sir? why do you have such a dreadful expression on your face?"

When i was having tea with Taeko, Mike came in, looking grim

Nath : "eek!"

Since Mike was walking so briskly, i thought he had come to do something, but Mike came towards me and hugged me around my shoulders

Nath   : (m-mike!?if you do something like this, Taeko will be suspicious..!)

Taeko : "sir..?"

Mike   : "Taeko, sorry. I'm dating Nath"

Taeko : "..eh?"

Mike   : "we thought that you wouldn't forgive us...so we kept it a secret, but i decided that i wanted you to

              know"

Taeko's expression froze once she heard Mike's words

Taeko : "when you say that you are dating.. you are siblings, correct?"

Nath   :".."

Taeko : "for two siblings to love each other romantically-what on earth are you thinking!"

Mike   : "but i can't look at Nath as my younger sister any longer, and we can't return to being siblings. 

             I love nath not as my sister but as a woman"

Nath  : "..mike"

Mike  : "it's true that we're siblings, but we're not related by blood"

Taeko : "..eh? you are not related by blood?"

Mike   : "we aren't. Nath is the daughter of Linda from dad's second marriage. You came to the wedding 

             ceremony too, Taeko"

Taeko : "..oh, is that how it is? I see. Mistress Nath is Mistress Linda's daughter!"

Taeko clapped her hands together as she smiled, like she had just remembered

Taeko : "then there is no problem"

Mike   : "..eh?"

Nath   : "..t-taeko?"

Taeko : "i misunderstood. I thought the two of you were related by blood. if you are not related by blood,

             then there is no problem"

Nath   : (t-that's it? even though we were so worried, that's all it takes for her to understand?)

while i felt like i had been let down by taeko's easy forgiveness, i met Mike's eyes

Taeko : "tomorrow, the other maids will be returning. i will take my leave"

Taeko bowed her head politely and started to leave the room

Taeko : "please invite me to your wedding"

Taeko said those last words before she left

Mike : "..hey, so what was the point of our four days of suffering?"

Nath : "i-i didn't think Taeko would leave so easily.."

Mike : "No that you say it, she's always been like this. She's always pulled back unexpectedly quickly once 

            people tell her an answer she accepts"

Nath : (even though i thought she was a bit more fussy, she unexpectedly wasn't..)

Mike : "well, i'm glad we've been accepted by Taeko, who was the biggest obstacle"

Nath : "..yeah, it really wasn't something we should hide.."

Mike : "that's not what i meant"

Nath :"Aah!"

Mike swept me up into his arms and he brought me like that to his room

Nath : "w-wait, Mike!?w-what are.."

Mike : "four days"

Nath : "eh?"

Mike : "For four days, i couldn't touch you even though you were so close to me, on top of that, for three

           days, we couldn't even talk"

Nath : "..."

Mike : "How much stress do you think i've piled up?"

Nath : "t-that's not my fault...Eek!"

Mike put me down gently on the bed. Then, Mike covered me with his own body

Nath : "w-wait, calm down Mike.."

Mike : "relax. I'm completely calm"

Nath : (That's even worse!Ah, i wonder if i'm going to get swept away again..)

In the end, i couldn't reject Mike from the bottom of my heart. There was no way i could. The reason being..

Nath : (I've been dying to be touched by Mike like this too..)

The next day, Ivan, or rather, Prince Lambert called me out

Ivan : "Pardon me for interrupting when you are resting. Master Lambert ordered me to call upon you"

Yuki : "It's fine.. But did i do something again?"

A sudden summons. And i have no idea why..

Ivan : "There is no need to be so worried. With what happened yesterday. I believe he simply wishes to speak with you"

It'd be nice if that were it..Actualyy, i wanted to talk to Him more as well

Ivan : "We're arrived. This way"

(This is...?)

Ivan       : "Please watch your step and come inside"

Lambert : "ah, you're here"

Yuki       : "!?"

Lambert : "Get here faster next time, you're so slow i'm almost done here. I don't have much time, so come 

                over here. I can't hear you from there"

Yuki       : "Eek!!"

I couldn't help screaming. This was a bathroom, and, of course, no one wore clothes to the bath, and so, of course Prince Lambert was,,

Lambert : "will you be quiet! How disgraceful..."

Ivan       : "That is why i told you she would be surprised without an explanation"

Lambert : "it's not rare, is it? It's not like you're some maiden. I just don't get commoners. Well, Ivan, 

                explain it to her"

Ivan      : "..As you wish"

Prince Lambert was nonchalant about being washed by his attendants. It was like a totally different world

Ivan : "i'm sorry for startling you. I was worried about this sort of meeting..but he has public affairs to attend

          to and has very little private time And yet he wished to make time to talk to you, Miss Yuki. So we

          did as Master Lambert wished As a last resort, it came to this. Do you understand?"

Lambert : "In other words, i'm using my precious off-time on you, so you should be thankful, not screaming. 

               well, it is a bit weird, but it's better than if i were changing"

Lambert : "Well, there isn't much time, so this is about yesterday. Thanks to you finding the speech and 

                fixing it some, it was very good. So i wanted to thank you again"

Yuki       : "No, i just.."

Lambert : "It was by chance, but you went after it right away And you put it back together even though it

                was ripped to shreds. Not many could do that. Be proud. I underestimated you. For a 

                commoners you have guts"

I was happy at those words. It was the first time he approved of me

Lambert : "And to the real reason i summoned you.. as it stands, i'm indebted to you. But i hate feeling that i

                owe someone. So i want you to choose a reward. Tell me what you want. Jewels? A dress? or..
                Ah. Yesterday i saw a gem called a paraiba tourmaline, how about that?"
Yuki       : "A para..??"
Ivan        : "It's a type of tourmaline. I have heard it's extremely precious. High quality gems rarely make it
                 to market. As reference the price is.."
Yuki       : "Ha...haa.."
Ivan        : "this is only a reference price, but.."
Yuki       : "...!?"

I couldn't understand the number Ivan said right away

Yuki       : "W-W-Whaaaatt!?"
Lambert : "What. Don't like it? Then a diamond? a bit normal and boring, but..."
Yuki       : "N-No no, that's... that's not what i meant!"
Ivan        : "Master Lambert, how about giving her some time to think? Miss Yuki seems to be flustered
                 at the suddenness"
Lambert : "oh, well, i suppose. Then have some time since i'll be busy anyway. Think of what you want"

I didn't know where to look since this was the bath

Yuki : "i-i understand. Excuse me!"

I nodded and tried to run

Lambert : "Wait. I didn't give you permission to go"
Yuki      : "what?"
Lambert : "I took the time out of my busy schedule to talk with you. so isn't it normal to stay until the end?
                commoners rarely have the chance to speak with me privately anyway. I'm talking with you, so
                you should stay here

without thinking, i answered

Lambert : "oh? what is?"
Yuki       : "b-because this.."
Lambert : "is a bath. and i'm bathing. and?to raise your voice at such a thing.. was i wrong to think you
                had guts?
Yuki       : "!?"
Lambert : "your face is really turning pink.. are you the one taking a bath or am i? hm? how about
                saying something?"
Yuki       : "i-i don't know where to look!"
Lambert : "aah, are you nervous? we're stranger so we should get to know each other through the skin"
Yuki       : "the ski-..!?"
Lambert : "i heard sharing a bath is proof of intimacy from someone. it's good to know other cultures.
                so tell me, what do i do first?it may help if i go to japan on diplomatic trip"

without hestitation, the naked prince lambert came closer

Yuki      : "t-that's why i said.. c-clot.."
Lambert : "clothes are bother-some? then take your clothes off. Then we'll be the same. I said i didn't have
                much time. don't dawdle. strip"

There was no way i was going to strip

Lambert : "..what a pain"
Yuki      : "wha-hey..!"

He pulled my arm roughly and i lost my balance and i fell right into the bath

Lambert : "see? it's because you took long that it turned out like this"
Yuki       : "what are you doing!?"
Lambert : "thats why i said to strip. it's your fault you're soaked"
Yuki       : "..."
Lambert : "don't worry. i'll have someone ready a change of clothes"

I lost teh will to be angry at him. (And..)

Lambert : "i've done many things.. but bathing with a clothed person is a first. Look, let's try to be better
                friends. ah, how about i let you call me 'mr' instead of prince? oh, that's good. it's proof that
               we are close, yes?"
Yuki       : "mr..lambert?"
Lambert : "yes. call me that from now on. i won't allow anything else"
Yuki       : "r-right.."

Prince-no, Mr. Lambert seemed a bit happier now. Maybe that's why i allowed it

servant : "i'll bring your change of clothes to your room"
Lambert : "Hmph, even if it'd be better to change together here..even though we have a skinship, you get
                shy now. You are a weird girl"
Yuki      :"I'm fine with that!"
Lambert : "that's fine, but change before you catch cold. I heard commoners are strong, but if you get sick,
                it'd be trouble for me"

When i sighed, Mr. Lambert stopped

Lambert : "Falitna"
Falitna    : "Good day, Lord Lambert, I was waiting on you"

(huh? who is this?)

Falitna : "..."

As i thought that, her gaze turned to me

Lambert : "Excuse me, forgive me for making you wait though you came all this way. By way of apology,
                 if you have time, shall we take tea? i haven't much time but should you wish it, i can afford at
                 least one cup"
Falitna   : "of course. I would be happy to accompany you"
Lambert : "you can go back. If you don't need anything, go"
Yuki       : "..."

Yuki      :"i understand. I'll go then"
Lambert : "don't reply, just go"

After saying that, Mr. Lambert left with her

Yuki : "..."

I didn't think his arrogant attitude could change, but..depending on the person, his attitude changed. I finally realized that. (and i thought we'd gotten closer...) Mr Lambert is a genuine pricne and i am commoner who can't take tea with him. The distance we'd begun to close, spread out again

Nath : (Johanes seemed a little strange- i wonder what was wrong..)

I watched as Johanes's car went into the distance and thought about what had just happened. He wasn't like usual.. No, Johanes had been too cheerful today - It made me feel uncomfortable. Plus, he began to say something only to not it until the end

Nath : (Though i think there are things he wouldn't be able to say to me.. or things he wouldn't want to say to me...When i think about the reason, i guess it was because of today)

No matter how cheerful he behaved, Johanes might have been hurt to the point that it made his behavior awkward too

Nath : ( i wanted to ask about what he was trying to say, but i'm no longer qualified to do that)

When i got back to the estate, Mike was talking with someone on the phone

Mike : "It's rare for you to call me.. Now? No, i'm already at the estate, so it's not like i can't go..."

Nath : "Mike?"

Mike : "..!"

When i spoke up to him, Mike suddenly looked shocked and signalled at me to wait

Mike : "mmhm, okay i see. I'll go there right away. Hm.. Should be there in about thirty minutes"

Nath : "Are you heading out now?"

After i was sure Mike had hung up, I spoke up to Him

Mike : "yeah"

Nath : "Work?"

Mike : "..yeah. Sorry, but i have to go out right away"

Nath : "o-okay"

Mike : "I might be late, so you can go rest first"

Nath : "..okay, be careful then"

Mike took his car key out of his pocket and rushed out of the estate

Nath : "That's strange..He said it was rare for the person to call him, so i thought it wasn't work"

But he'd rushed out, so it might have really been a call from work

Nath : (There's no reason for Mike to lie to me, so it's probably just my imagination)

Nath : "Robert, is Mike still not back yet?"

Even after i had taken a bath and eaten dinner, I still didn't see Mike

Robert : "No, no yet. I received a phone call earlier saying that he would be a little late.."

Nath    : "..i see" (I was going to tell Mike about what happened today though. I can't do that if he's not here. There's no helping it, i'll give up for today and tell him tomorrow)

I put the plain plush monkey on top of my desk. It didn't match with the extravagent room

Nath : (Hehe, this monkey is so different from its surrounds that it's a bit strange)

Johanes might get mad if i told him this, but he was also the same and then...There was the picture JOhanes had drawn

Nath : (This picture is kind of mysterious. My heart feels warm just from looking at it)

In the picture, I was smiling gently and holding out a hand. I felt  a bit embarrassed looking at it since it was a picture of me, but the picture made me feel like i wanted to look at it for as long as i could

Nath : "hm? something's written on the back"

When i looked on the other side, I noticed small letters written on it

Johanes : "It'd be embarrassing to say this out loud, so i'm writting it here. You didn't end up choosing me, but everyday i spent with you was seriously fun. I'm really happy that i was able to meet you, Nath. So, you should get along with that guy and be happier with him than you were with me"

Nath : "Johanes..."

I could tell from the picture and  those words just how much Johanes cared for me

Nath : (...Thank you, Johanes)

Nath : (what's that? it's a bit noisy in the hall..)

Mike : "Nath!"

Mike threw the door open and came into my room

Nath : "Did you just come home? You worked hard today"

Nath : "eh? why all of a sudden?"

Mike : "Just hurry up! i'll explain in the car"

Mike : "There's no time for you to put on make up or anything, so just change. We won't make it in time"

Mike said just that and left the room

Nath : "Jeez, what is it..."

Mike : "Damn, we're late. I hope we can make it in time.."

Mike : "You went out with that idiot.. No, you went out with Johanes, right?"

Nath : (It's rare for Mike to call Johanes by his name) Y-yeah, i did. we went to the zoo"

Mike : "He said it'd be fine if i just transferred all the people affected by restructuring to BYC...There are 

           a great number of people, but BYC still be able to take them in.."

Nath : "B-but then what will happen to Johanes?There's no way that Johanes father would accept.."

Mike : "...it seems like he frantically persuaded his father, saying that he had no intention of taking over 

            the company. Of course i don't think he persuaded him easily, but..."

Nath : "Could going to France have something to do with it?"

Mike : "He submitted the painting of you into a contest, and it seems it caught the eyes of an artist in France"

Nath : "So, he said that he was invited to France to study" (I'm happy that Johanes painting is being 

           acknowledge, but his company..)

Mike : "He said that from the start, he went an arts university because he couldn't throw away his dream,

            to be an artist"

Mike : "get off here. You go first and find Johanes at all costs. I'll park the car"

Nath : "g-got it"

Nath : ( i said i got it, but i can't find him-there are too many people..!)

Even though it was late at night, the airport was filled with people who were waiting

Nath : ( I don't want to not be able to meet you again without even being able to say goobye, Johanes!)

*Johanes : "don't worry about me. At any rate...I wanted to hear that from you, then i can freely..Thank you 

                  for everything up until now"

It might have been conceited of me. However, I felt like i was a large part of the reason Johanes handed over his company

*Johanes : "A lot of things have happened because of this fuss with restructuring, but just be patient , since 

                  i think it'll end soon. So, after all this is finished, be happy with him"

Because he had supposed a conclusion like this, Johanes had took on an determined attitude

When i looked towards the source of the voice, i saw Johanes standing there, looking surprised

Johanes : "why are you here.."

Nath      : "...I heard from Mike"

Johanes : "that idiot. I told him not to tell you, and he broke his promise just like that..."

Arriving at my parent's house, I called out from the enterway. I heard footsteps from inside the house and my mother and younger brother Hiroto came out

Mother    : "Well, well. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Yuki's mother"

Yuki        : "..! M-mom!?" Don't you think you overdid the makeup!?"

Mother    : "Oh? you think so? I thought it looked fine. It's so kind of you to put up with my daughter"

Kitazawa : "Of course. It's nice to meet you. Forgive me for not coming to meet you sooner"

Hiroto      : "Wow. So this is Omi Kitazawa!? Quite handsome. NIce catch sis!"

Yuki        : "Ssh, don't say that in front of him. Sorry, Omi"

Kitazawa : "no problem"

My brother just started college. When he heard Omi was coming...he decided to come home too

Mom : "Please, come in"

Mom's and Hiroto's excitement made me feel uneasy..as the two of us stepped inside

Yuki : "Wait. Where's Dad?"

Mom : "I don't know. He disappeared. I'm sure he's nervous about meeting you"

Mom : "You must have a lof of luggage if you're staying the night...why don't you carry it up to your room

            first? I'll make us some tea and call you when it's ready"

Yuki : "Sure. Let's go Omi"

Omi and I went to place our luggage in the room i grew up in, seeing my room just like i had left it brought back memories

Kitazawa : "So this is the room you grew up in? It smells like you"

Yuki       : "What!? it smells like me? Do I really smell?"

I sniffed at myself.. But i didn't notice anything. I was beginning to worry I might smell funny when..

Yuki : "Hey!"

I suddenly felt arms gently wrap themselves around me from behind. Omi buried his face in my neck and inhaled deeply. Feeling his long breath against my neck gave me a pleasant ticklish sensation

Kitazawa : "Yuki's smell, at some point i realized it's the most calming thing i can think of"

I was sitting there distracted by the pleasant atmosphere, when..

Kitazawa : "huh? Is that you?"

Omi suddenly relaxed his arms around me. Distracted by something, he moved toward my study desk. His gaze was fixed on the cork board hanging on the wall..and the many photographs pinned to it

Yuki : "oh.."

My entire childhood was packed into those photographs. Baby photos, elementary school photos, high school photos, even my college graduation photograph was on display

Kitazawa : "wow..Your face just like it did in elemantary school. It's like I'm looking at a miniatur Yuki"

Yuki        : "Hey! Are you trying to tell me i'm still a kid!?"

Kitazawa : "ha ha ha"

Fascinated with my childhood photograph..Omi had unpinned it from the board and was laughing to himself

Yuki  : "what's so funny!? Give it to me!"

Kitazawa : "No way. This is too cute. There's no  way i'm giving it back. Maybe i'll hang it up at work"

Yuki : "you will not!"

I reached out my arm to take the picture away from Omi..but he raised it up in the air just out of my reach, teasing me

Yuki : (Now he's just playing with me. If that's what he wants..)

Recovering from the shock i slowly opened my eyes..to find Omi's face right in front of mine. He looked completely unlike his usual self...his eyes were wide open in surprise

Yuki : "ha ha ha! ah ha ha ha ha! That look of surprise on your face..."

I was laughing so hard, tears began to flow. Omi was frowning as he responded

Kitazawa : "Yuki...This deserves punishment"

Yuki        :"What!? Hey!"

Suddenly i was no longer lying on top of him. He grabbed my arms and held me against the bed..staring at me with a mischievous look in his eyes

Kitazawa : "There, that should keep the bad gir; from moving around. I wonder how i should punish you"

Omi slowly brushed his lips against mine. As those lips teasingly pulled away..I lifted my body up, drawn toward him

Yuki : "Mmm.."

Looking at me with satisfaction..he once again slowly placed his lips over mine..and kissed deeply. Enchanted, all my thoughts began floating away. I felt Omi's hand begin to slide under my clothing. Suddenly..

*thud*, *thud*, *thud*

I heard footsteps coming up the stairs

Yuki : "!"

I snapped back to my senses. Pushing Omi aside, I tried to straighten my appearance. As i struggled to fix my hair and smooth out my clothes.. Omi looked on in enjoyment

Yuki  : (Isn't he concerned at all? My heart is about to explode!"

Mom : "Yuki, may i come in?"

Yuki  : "S-sure!"

*click*

Mom       : "the tea is ready...oh, were you looking at your pictures?They sure do bring back memories.

                  Yuki was such an obedient child. That reminds me, she has loved clothing ever since she was a

                  little girl"

Kitazawa : "Is that so?"

Mom       : "Yes. Oh and..hold on a second"

Appearing to remember something, Mom stepped out of the room for a moment. She returned immediately, carrying a book with her

Mom : "Here, look at this. This is her homework from first grade. It brings back so many memories"

There on the top of the page she had opened it to..in my newly learned cursive handwriting..was the title "my future dreams"

Kitazawa : "i want to wear a dress like cinderella and marry a prince. Really? that sounds just like you"

Yuki        : "Did i really write that?"

Strangely in agreement, Mom and i both looked at Omi. He responded a little uncomfortably

Kitazawa : "s-shouldn't we head downstairs?"

mom        :"Oh, that's right! I came up here to call you two down for tea. I completely forgot"

When we entered the living room, Dad was sitting there looking calm..with the newspaper spread open before him. Mom whispered quietly to me

Mom : "He's been staring at the same page this entire time. He's definitely embarrassed. hehehe!"

Yuki  : (He's as nervous as i am)

Mom : "Everyone have a seat and i'll pour tea. You too dad, come sit with us"

I was going to motion Omi toward his chair..when he quickly slipped past me..and stood before my father, reaching out his hand

Kitazawa : "My name is Omi Kitazawa, It's a pleasure to meet you"

Dad         : "o-Oh, yeah. Hello. I am Yuki's father"

Yuki         : (Dad! That's it!?)

As i stared at their awkward appearance...Hiroto tugged at my arm and spoke softly to me

Hiroto : "don't you think Dad looks too nervous?"

Yuki    : "say something to him"

Hiroto  : "what, me?No way, you do it"

Just then, with a stern expression on his face.. Dad slapped the paper down and stood up

I spoke to the firstborn prince, Melchiorre

(huh? is he ignoring me?)

Melchiorre : Sorry. i've just remembered something i must do. We'll speak again later"

Tamir         : Melchiorre! Where do you think you're going?

Melchiorre : i wonder ? Farewell for now, Father

Prince Melchiorre bowed graciously and left the hall

Tamir     : "Oh, Very well. At any rate, I leave the succession in your hands, child"

Yuki       : "Y-yes, Your Majesty"

Tamir     : "Good evening to you all. I believe i'll retire for the night"

Princess : "...Yes, Father"

The King left the hall. The princes followed him out. The only ones left were myself and Ivan

Yuki : "Yawn... i'm so tired.."

Ivan  : "Master Melchiorre is the eldest son, but he's a touch peculiar"

Yuki  : "I see"

(The eldest..In other words, the first in line for the crown? Not that he seems unreliable, but he doesn't have the air of an eldest son...well, it's not as if i know him well enough to judge)

Yuki : "Do you know where Prince Melchiorre went?"

Ivan  : "To his room, most likely.. or barring that, the town"

Yuki : "the town?"

Ivan  : "He often says the palace is stifling, and goes out into the town itself"

Yuki  : "Hmm.. I see. Well, for now i'll just do my best to find him and talk to him"

Ivan   : "Yes, Miss"

I thanked Ivan and went looking for Melchiorre

*Knock, knock*

I rapped on the door of Melchiorre's room

Yuki : "Prince Melchiorre, are you there?"

But there was no answer

Yuki : "..He must be out, then"

A prince who feels smothered and goes out into the town.. I can sympathize

Yuki : "I don't have any other leads. To the town it is, then.."

So i went into town to search for Prince Melchiorre

Yuki : "Gah..Where could he have gone?"

Finding Prince Melchiorre was a task easier said than done. (The city's too big and i haven't got a clue where to start. This is impossible. I don't even know my way around..). Typical me, running off on a wild goose chase..

Yuki : "it's no good...I'm so tired. I'll just rest here a while"

Worn out from my search, I found a little garden park to rest in. A pleasant breeze was blowing

Yuki : "Ahh..The breeze is so nice, and the scenery is lovely. If i wasn't caught up in all this, then this place

           would be a lovely memory..."

???? : "....."

(...Huh? Did a familiar face walk by just now?) I stood up from the bench, and spotted a tall figure

Yuki : "I thought so!"

He was dressed differently, but the man walking by was Prince Melchiorre

Yuki          : "Prince Melchiorre!"

Melchiorre : "Hm?..Good day, foreign maiden. Fancy meeting you here

Yuki          : "I came looking for you. Your Highness, why did you vanish like that?"

Melchiorre : "Dear me"

Prince Melchiorre suddenly caught my shoulders and pulled me close

Yuki : "H-huuuuhhh!?"

I can feel his breath on my face.. What's going on..!? It was so sudden, my heart leapt and nearly beat out of my chest

Yuki          : "Your HIghness! What are you...!"

Melchiorre : "'Your Highness'..please, don't use my formal title. Melchiorre will do"

Yuki          : "But.. We've only just met..!"

It would take a lot of nerve to call a prince by his first name only

Melchiorre : "Well, then let's get acquainted. Go head and say it. My name : 'Melchiorre'. "

His voice was like music. His slender fingers clasped my shoulders

Melchiorre : "I won't let you go until you promise to use it. You see?"

Bewildered, I could do nothing but nod my head

Yuki          : "Yes, Your Hi..Um! That is.. Melchiorre...!"

Melchiorre : "Good girl"

A surreptitious smile played across his lips, and he stroked my hair. He finally let me go, but my heart wouldn't stop pounding

Yuki : "hold on.. let go of me!"

I kept kicking and screaming as Enya carried me around on his shoulder

Enya : "no"

Yuki : "no? i'm going to yell for help!"

Enya : "aren't you already yelling?"

Yuki : "Enya! please, stop! this isn't funny!"

Enya : "and what if i'm not joking?"

Enya looked stared directly at me as he spoke

Enya : "is there anyone that you're interested in?"

Yuki : "no.. no, not at all! i don't have time for that. My memory hasn't even returned yet.."

Enya : "don't you remember what Yoshitsune said? you can stay here as long as you like and what would be wrong with staying here as my woman?"

("my woman" How disgusting...)

Yuki : "no thank you!!"

Enya : "huh! you're an odd one, if my charm isn't turning you on there must be something wrong with you!"

Donk!

Enya : "ow!"

A stone suddenly came out of nowhere and hit Enya right in the head! i slipped out of his arms the moment that he stooped down

Hyuga : "of course she's odd. she lost her memory. there's not a thing in her head right now"
Enya   : "You..What are you doing throwing stones?"
Hyuga : "Would you have preferred a boulder?"

As soon as he spoke, Hyuga grabbed my arm firmly

Hyuga : "Let's go"
Yuki   : "Go where...?"
Hyuga : "Just come with me"

Hyuga : "i'm taking you away from Enya"
Yuki   : "Thank.. thank you"

As i bowed my head down to him, Hyuga was staring at me intensely

Hyuga : "As i said before, do not misunderstand me. I do not care what happens between you and Enya"
Yuki   : "...."
Hyuga : "I have simply been ordered by Yoshitsune to protect you. It is my duty to see that not even a fly
              lay its touch upon you"

Hyuga then let out a heavy sigh

Hyuga : "ugh.. how did i get stuck with such a job"
Yuki   : "I'm sorry"

(I already know this. Hyuga isn't here because he wants to. He's only around me to fulfil his duty). The orders of a ninja's master are abosolute.. (So even though i already know this.. why do i have butterflies in my stomach?)

The next day, while i was still asleep in my bed, i felt something warm against my neck

???? : "Pant Pant Pant.."

(what is that heavy breathing?) Before i knew it, A large tongue was licking my lips

Yuki     : "Whoaa!!"
Dog      : "Woof!"
Yuki     : "A dog?"
Hyuga  : "Pochi! Don't just run into people's rooms!"

Hyuga slipped into the room through the open window

Yuki : "Hyuga.. what is this?"
Hyuga : "Pochi. She's my pet ninja dog"

(A ninja dog..)

Hyuga : "I had her deliver the rpeort to the village..She came back this morning"
Yuki    : "really? She delivered the report..."
Hyuga : "Enya was supposed to have written it, but he avoided doing it. He's just like a spoiled child"

As he spoke, Hyuga briskly patted pochi on the head

Hyuga : "You're a good kid, unlike Enya"
Yuki    : "She sure does seem bright. I was just shocked to have my lips licked all of sudden.."
Hyuga : "What, did you think that  i was the one doing it?"
Yuki    : "Of.. of course not!"
Hyuga : "I have never thought about going after you. Not even once!"

(He had quite a strong tone, even though he had no need to deny it,,)

Pochi   : "Woof!"
Hyuga : "Good girl. you must have been lonely while you were away"

(He was smiling. Although, i have never seen that smile directed at me..)

Yuki    : "you two sure do get along well"
Hyuga : "Yeah. I found her abandoned in mountains and raised her as a ninja dog. Actually, i found you in
              the mountains too. Perhaps you two try to get along"
Yuki    : "Okay, okay"

Putting my hand out to pet Pochi, she happily lunged my way and began licking my face

Yuki    : "Okay, okay, i get it.. come on, calm down.."
Hyuga : "haha! i think you have some nectar from the flowers stuck in your hair"

(Whenever Pochi is around, Hyuga is just like a little boy"

yuki    : "Have you always liked dogs this much?"
Hyuga : "Probably more than i do people"
Yuki    : "why?"
Hyuga : "because dogs never lie"

(dogs never lie..) even tough his response was quick, those words resonated within me and left quite the impact. (So Hyuga thinks all people are liars?Someonne must have deceived or backstabbed him..)

Enya          : "There have been no publicy known threats made towards Yoshinaka Kiso"
Yoshitsune : "I believe that Yoshinaka will not be lulled i by the Taira Clan's talk"

(That conversation that happened between Noritsune and Munemori at the Taira Mansion..)

Taira Noritsune : "Defeating the prestigious Yoshitsune, setting aim for the Minamoto clan's head seat..if he
                            is an honest samurai, I can't imagine those words would lure him"
Taira Munemori : "But he did respond to the meeting. He is a shallow man, different from Yoshitsune,
                            there's nothing odd about him being drawn in by sweet words"

Kazemasa : "will all due respect, Yoshitsune would not like to think Yoshinaka would be lured in by The
                   Taira Clain, no?yoshinaka is almost like a cousin to Yoshitsune.."

Upon hearing this, Yoshitsune silently nodded

Yoshitsune : "yes. It is likely just as Kazemasa says. I was raised without knowing my family.. because of
                    that, I would not like to think i have been betrayed by immediate family. However.. supposing
                   that yoshinaka does turn, there is no way that he would make a frontal attack"
Hyosuke   : "If that is the case, we would have no choice but to strike back! if they attacked, that would then
                    be the perfect reason to assault against Yoshinaka!"
Yuki          : "..."

(but.. if that were to happen we would alsi fall to the Minanoto Clan)

Yoshitsune : "Is there something you want to say, Yuki?"
Yuki          : "N..No..Nothing.."
Yoshitsune : "Don't hold back. If you have something to say, it's best to say it. I would like to lend my ears
                     to anything, even if it is a mere opinion"

I began to speak just as Yoshitsune had ordered

Yuki : "i.. i am aware of soldiers of Yoshinaka's army who are uncomfortable with his actions. They have
           been paying no heed to overthrowing the Taira clan and instead focus on the throne. They oppress
           the people and hold secret meetings against the Taira Clan..Those soldiers who are losing their faith
           in Yoshinaka are wishing to join Yoshitsune's army. Aren't they a lot of people who are wishing for
            that?"
Enya : "What a clearly cultured princess!"

Enya smacked me square across the face

Enya          : "Yoshinaka's army is no force like ours is. It is likely they fear Yoshinaka and would dare say
                     nothing out loud. Yet, their admiration is gone. What it is is that most would not wish to
                    oppose Yoritomo"
Yoshitsune : "As for me, I do not wish to reduce the power of the Minamoto Army"
Enya          : "Suppose Yoshinaka is lured by their words. What do you suppose that Yoritomo would do?"
Yoshitsune : "He.. He would surely order Yoshinaka to kill himself"

(If that were to happy, the soldiers without a leader would likely flow into Yoshitsune's army. His army strength would increase and he would be able to corner the Taira Clan. Then if the Taira Clan were defeated, it would be Yoshitsune's name to go down in history..) I stared at Yoshitsune as i imagined  that future

As Hyuga and I were about to return to our rooms, Yoshitsune called out

Yoshitsune : "Yuki. You surprise me earlier with your ability to articulate so well. This is the first time that
                     i met a lady such as yourself"
Yuki          : "No. I must apologize for my disrespectful behavior. I am a mere commoner"
Yoshitsune : "Your social standing is irrelevant. Regardless, i do not think of you that way. I really do
                    wonder who you are"

(I'd like to know as well, but i just cannot remember now..I just may never regain my memories) As a depressed look came across my face, Yoshitsune laid his hands upon my shoulders

Yoshitsune : "No matter who you are, I am still very luck to have met you, Yuki"

Yoshitsune gave me a warm smile

Yoshitsune : "Have you spoken with the maids? They are really glad that you have come here. You've been
                    a real help with the cooking and housework"
Yuki          : "Thank you"
Hyuga        : "I too must bow my head to you. It is wonderful that you have taken the initiative to assist in
                    those areas.."
Yoshitsune : "Ah, yes. I would like you to continue to support her from now on"
Hyuga        : "Yes, Sir. I understand"

As soon as Yoshitsune had left, Hyuga gave me a sharp slap over the head

Hyuga : "hmm. Where is that greatness he's talking about?"

Hyuga : "You and Yoshitsune are too submissive"
Yuki    : "Yoshitsune is?"
Hyuga : "He will even honestly listen to the opinion of his vassals. So just like you, He know nothing of
             doubting people. That temperament..."
Yuki    : "What was that?"
Hyuga : "...Nothing"

At that moment, Hyuga stopped talking. When he is in front of Yoshitsune, Hyuga does not say much. He hides his true feelings and plays the perfect advisor, (It seems he doesn't like to reveal his true feelings to anyone..)

Hyuga : "So, your cooking.."
Yuki   : "huh?"
Hyuga : "You must have learned that from your mother"
Yuki   : "...I can't remember, but that's probably the truth"
Hyuga : "It seems likely your parents were quite the people. Daughters of royalty are usually brought up
              tenderly, even spoiled. However, your parents did not only teach you about cooking and
              cleaning,but of war and government as well. That sort of Royalty doesn't really exist"

(Yet i cannot even recall their faces..)

Yuki   : "If they are gone, I shall never meet them..I really would like to know what kind of people they
             were"
Hyuga : "..True. It would be nice if you regained your memories and remembered your parents"
Yuki   : "Yoshitsune also does not know his father, right?"
Hyuga : "Right. His father, Yoritomo was defeated by the Taira Clan when Yoshitsune was only two years
              old. His mother, Tokiwa Gozen was captured by Kiyomori Taira and made into a concubine"
Yuki    : "...!!"
Hyuga : "No wonder he hates the Taira Clan then"

(I had heard that he was separated from his family as a child, but..I had no idea his past was that horrific..)

Yuki : "But Yoshitsune does not seem to be in poor spirit"
Hyuga : "That is just his outer appearance, He hides his true feelings well. His childhood memories are quite intense, after all"

There was a sadness in Hyuga's eyes as he whispered. What about Hyuga's parents?I wanted to ask, but I refrained

Afterwards, as i was taking a bath I recalled the conversation

I wonder why Hyuga seemed so sad as he said that

Yuki : "I've been in here too long.. I need to get out or i might end up fainting"

Splash. The moment i stepped out of the bathub-

Rattle Rattle

Enya : "Is someone there?"
Yuki : "!?"
Enya : "don't shout"

Enya quickly ran up to me and covered my mouth with his hand

Enya : "In my case, it because though i'd really be attacked"
Yuki : "Hrmph..!"
Enya : "I'm looking the other way. Put your clothes on quickly"

I hastily grabbed my kimono, wrapped it around myself and tied the sash

Enya : "Are you done?"
Yuki : "Y..Yes"
Enya : "Okay"
Yuki : "huh!?E..Enya! Put on your clothes!"

I couldn' help but cry out once i turned around and saw him

Enya : "What? you are such a pain,, i'm fine like this"

The only two things Enya was wearing was a hand towel and a broad, audacious grin

Enya : "I saw a bit by accident, but you have an outstanding body"
Yuki : "WHAT..!"
Enya : "A late blooming daughter of royalty.. How exciting"

I brushed away Enya's arm as he tried to put me over his shoulder again

Enya : "Huh. You're a strong one. That's new to me. I think i like it"
Yuki : "...."
Enya : "All the other women have been easier, that made it boring"
Yuki : "Is spending time with women just simple playtime for you, Enya?"
Enya : "Yeah, it  is"

Enya nodded as he answered as if it were natural

Enya : "Up until now, I have never once met a woman who i could really fall in love with"

(A woman who he could really fall in love with.. I wonder about Hyuga)

Yuki : "..."

(Why am i suddenlythinking about Hyuga at a time like this?)

Enya : "What's wrong?"
Yuki : "Nothing
Enya : "C'mon. tell me"
Yuki : "well.. I was just wondering if Hyuga was like you"
Enya : "Wait, a minute. Are you in love with Hyuga?"
Yuki : "Of..Of course not!"
Enya : "It'll be rough if you're in love with him. Dunno what you're thinking"
Yuki : "..."
Enya : "We grew up as childhood friends but even now i have no idea what he is really thinking. You can't tell his true feelings..."
Yuki : "Is that really true?"
Enya : "well.. Our circumstances growing up were entirely different. I was the son of a chieftain and had a
          comfortable life. Hyuga was the opposite, He was an Orphan and had a hard life"
Yuki : "An orphan? Are you saying that Hyuga has no parents?"
Enya : "Right. When he was young he lost his parents and the chief of the village of the flame took him in.
           I have no idea about all the details of that, though. You could ask him, but he won't say anything
           about it"
Yuki : "..."
Enya : "He was raised in the way of the ninja, showing amazing talent and power. Then he rose to where he is now"

(I had no idea his past was like that,..)

Yuki : "A while ago i heard something from Hyosuke, actually..Hyuga rose to the top of many lower ranking
          ninjas just by his power alone"
Enya : "Now, Hyosuke, he's easy to understand. Of course, he's an idiot"
Yuki : "..."
Enya : "Then again, that would make him a good husband"

If Hyuga wants to ignore me for being shocked at his past, then he can do as he pleases

Enya : "Kazemasa is a man of few words and stubborn. Boring too..Of course he's the one who will
           probably rise the highest. well, then who do you choose?"

Destiny Ninja : Hyuga (chapter 3)

Destiny Ninja : Hyuga

Said by Hyuga during the day. (i'm just a nuisance to Hyuga. I want to recover my memory as soon as possible and return to where i belong. But if there is no place for me to return to..?)

Hyuga : are you still awake? go to sleep"

Yuki   : "yes.."

After getting into bed and pulling the bedspread over me, i said to Hyuga

Yuki    : "good night"

Hyuga : "..."

Its lonely to go to sleep without saying anything goodnight to each other. (do i feel like this because i was living surrounded by my family?) Why can't i remember anything? what if i never see my family again..? feeling lonely and uncertain, tears came to my eyes. I burrowed deeper under the bedspread and cried quietly so that hyuga would not hear

Yuki    :"sob..sob..."

Hyuga : "hey"

Yuki    : "huh!?"

A voice suddenly cried out and my heat jumped

Hyuga : "don't make light of a ninja ears. They hear everything"

Yuki    : "...."

(is he going to say again he's had enough of babysitting me?)

Hyuga : "i was wrong..."

Hearing these unexpected words, i poked my head out from under the bedspread and gazed at Hyuga

Hyuga : "it wasn't your fault that Hyosuke was rattling on. i'm sorry it out on you.."

Yuki   : "..."

Hyuga : "is my aplogizing so strange?"

Yuki    : "yes, uh.. no, well..."

Hyuga : "ha.. you're an honest person"

Breaking out in laughter, Huga stared at me

Hyuga : "You and Hyosuke don't lie"

Yuki    : "huh!?"

Suddenly Hyuga got aide me and covered my mouth

Yuki : "um..um..."

Hyuga : "quiet!"

Hyuga whispered quietly into my ear

Hyuga : "i feel something fishy"

(something fishy?!) the next momet..

Enya : "we're under attack!"

From the garden,. is that enya's voice!? Hyuga quickly opened the door and peeked outside the house

Hyuga : "all of the guards were lying on the ground..at both the front and rear gates"

Yuki    : "hyuga!?"

Hyuga : "i can't see any enemies. stay here!"

While i remained behind, Hyuga quickly jumped down into the garden

Hyuga : "yoshitsune!"

in an instant, four ninja surrounded Yoshitsune

Plink plink plink

Yoshitsune : "that's sound!?"

(The sound coming from the darkness.. is that a biwa!?"

Enya : "who's there!"

The next moment , a man holding a biwa appeared from the darkness (a biwa minstrel!?)

Hyuga : "a sorcerer..you put the soldiers to sleep by the sounds of the biwa"

???     : "he he he"

Laughing mysteriously, the biwa minstrel threw some things one after another from his hand

Whiz! Whiz!

Five men  drew their swords at the same time and parried the weapons that came flying!

Yoshitsune : "what! cross-shaped throwing stars!?"

??              : "he-he! Yoshitsune minamoto.. the rumor that he learned the ninja art at kuramadera temple

                    from an early age seems to be true"

Enya         : "Yoshitsune , the enemy is using a mysteriously magic! get away!"

at enya's shout, Hyuga took a bow from his back and shot an arrow at the enemy!

?? : " he-he-he!"

At the next moment, the enemy flew up and extended a biwa string tring it around Hyuga's arm

Hyuga : "confound it, what are you!?"

Biwa   : "my name is rengoku Biwa. i've come to kill you all! he-he"

The string released by rengoku biwa dug deeply into HYuga's arm

Kazemasa : "bah!

Hanzo drew his sword and cut the string tied around Hyuga arm

Biwa : "none of that!"

Rengoku shouted, and simultaneously spat flame from his mouth

ROAR!

The furious flame spread to the pillars of the residence

Yoshitsune : "kazemasa, Hyosuke, fight the fire! there are servants inside the residence"

kazemasa : "yes, sir!"

Hyosuke : "yes, sir"

Biwa       : "he-he-he"

(!?)

Dozens of shadows of rengoku biwaq surrounded Yoshitsune and the others

Hyuga : "shadow cloning technique! find the real  rengoku!"

Using the shadown cloning technique, Rengoku threw stars from all directiobs, While parrying the stars with their swords, the three of them tried to kill the real Rengoku Biwa, but they didn't  know which was the real one

Thunk!

Hyuga : "ouch!"

Yuki    : Hyuga!"

A throwing star struck Hyuga shoulder. I almost run out to him without thinking.

Biwa : "he-he-he! i'll burn your house with all of the people inside!"

ROAR!

The flame spat by rengoku closed in on me

Yoshitsune : "yuki!"

Yoshitsune came running up adn protected me from the flame using his back as a shield

Yuki : "Yoshitsune!"

Biwa : "Yoshitsune, prepare yourself!"

Rengoku faced Yoshitsune and tried to throw a star at him, at that moment...

Hyuga : "Heavenly ashura hell fire!"

(!?) Hyuga quickly rotated his arms like ashura, 

Zing Zing Zing!

Releasing countless fore arrows, Hyuga sent a rain of fire from overhead!

Biwa : "No!"

The fire rained down on the shadows of rengoku Finally, all of the shadows disappeared and the real rengoku slowly fell to the ground

Enya   : "he's compeltely stopped breathing, right!?"

Hyuga : "yeah"

An arrow had stuck straight in the head of rengoku who had fallen to he ground

Enya          : "Yoshitsune, are you all right?"

Yoshitsune : "ah, i just got burned slightly. its no big deal"

Yoshitsune looked down at the fallen rengoku and muttered

Yoshitsune : "the hard-pressed heishi sent an assassin to kill me. Just like Hyuga and the others, an assassin

                    that uses secret arts.."

Hyosuke    : "Yoshitsune! what happened to your back!?"

Yoshitsune : "don't worry. its only a slight burn, now break into groups and check that all of the guards and

                     ladies are safe and as precaution, check that there are no more enemies around"

With that Yoshitsune left the room

Kazemasa : "Enya, Hyuga.. you were with Yoshitsune, why did allow him to get hurt!?"

Enya         : "..."

Hyuga       : "..."

Yuki          : "hanzo, it's not that!"

Question : 

it's my fault

The enemy ninja was powerful

Yuki         : "its my fault.."

Kazemasa : "your fault?"

Yuki         : "the enemy saw me and attacked me with fire.. Yoshitsune instantly  shielded me with his back"

Kazemasa : "..."

Enya         : "yuki, you're not hurt, are you?"

Yuki         : "no"

Enya         : "then, go to Yoshitsune's room and treat his burns"

Yuki         : "yes, of course"

Kazemasa : "there's no need to have this girl do that"

Yuki          : "..."

Kazemasa : "Yoshitsune was injured because of her!?"

Enya         : "it's not a life-threatedning injury. and.. always protecting people that are weaker.. that's 

                   yoshitsune.. Yuki, take the medicine chest and go to Yoshitsune's room"

Yuki         : "all right"

Yuki          : "Yoshitsune, i brought some medicine"

Yoshitsune : "yes, thank you"

I kneeled down on the floor and applied ointment to Yoshitsune's back (although a slight burn, the swollen red back looked painful)

Yoshitsune : "its hard for me to apply the ointment  to my back. Thank you for your help"

Yuki          : "no need to thank me.. don't say such kind words"

Yoshitsune : "why?"

Yuki          : "because it's my fault you were burned"

Yoshitsune : "i chose to shield you, don't worry about it"

Yuki          : "still.."

Yoshitsune : "moreover, i'm a man.. there'll probably be some scars left, but it's nothing. i can't allow  your

                    beautiful skin to be scarred"

Yoshitsune looked at me with gentle eyes

Yoshitsune : "if that happened, i'd regret it for the rest of my life"

(what a kind person he is ), feeling a lump in my throat, i gazed back at Yoshitsune

Yoshitsune : "women and children like you,  those weak people.. i want to create a world where they can

                    live safetly and happily. now, they can loose their lives simply by speaking ill of the heishi. 

                   Such a world where poor people have to suffer more is wrong. i was placed at kuramadera 

                   when i was a child, and i learned the ninja art there. The training was strict and life at the temple 

                   was frugal. However, i though i was fortunate.. because i was free"

Yuki          : "free?"

Yoshitsune : "at kuramadera where i was placed as a child, i was not treated as a noble son of genji. because

                    of that i was able to see the wide world unlike my elder brother . whenever i went to a village

                    where people lived, i saw the poor, weak people suffering.. i saw very young children being 

                    sold for money. i felt strongly that i had to change such a world"

Yuki            : "yoshitsune, i'm sure you can create a world where everyone can live happily"

Yoshitsune : "if you say so, i think i can really do it"

Saying that, Yoshitsune smiled sweetly

Yoshitsune : "yuki.. you're a strange girl. i feel as if your words have special power"

Yuki          : "no. i'm just an ordinary girl as you can see"

Yoshitsune : "really? you may not have realized it yourself"

Yoshitsune reacged out and stroke my hair. (Yoshitsune is the kindest person. But.. may i presume upon his kindness?)

While walking in the corridor to return to the room, i saw a figure in the dark

Kazemasa : "..."

(hanzo..)

kazemasa ;"do you know what i want to say?"

(hanzo..)

Yuki          : "you want to tell me to leave this residence?"

Kazemasa : "that's right. your staying here is a nuisance to us"

Yuki         : "..."

Kazemasa : "because Yoshitsune is kind. he's probably told you to stay here as long as you like. Besides, it 

                   seems you have won his favor. But we have a duty to protect Yoshitsune and defeat the Heishi. 

                   in fulfuling  our duty, you're nothing but a hindrance. Therefore.. you should leave here 

                   voluntarily"

After meeting hanzo in the corridor, i went out into the garden and gazed at the night sky, (hanzo is right) i am just a hindrance to them in doing their duty and winning the war. (i must leave this residence voluntarily, but where should i go?) i can't even remember my own home. Looking at the  stars twinkling in the night sky, i felt so lonely and helpless. Tears streamed down my cheeks then,

??? :"hey"

whn i heard the voice behind me, i hastily wiped away my tears and turned around

Yuki   : "hyuga.."

Hyuga : "what, have you been crying by yourself?"

Yuki   : "n..no"

Hyuga : "don't lie"

Hyuga approached me and tweaked my nose

Hyuga : "the tip of your nose i beet red. you look terrible"

Yuki   : "well.. that's because i just sneezed a minute ago"

Hyuga : "ha-ha-ha, what's that excuse for?"

Hyuga laughed and gazed at me

Hyuga : "you're acting tough though you're really a cry baby"

Yuki   : "..."

Hyuga : "were you thinking of leaving here? kazemasa probably said something to you"

Yuki   : "what hanzo said is true. i'm just a nuisance to everyone. not only am i not of any use, i've been

            causing nothing but trouble"

Hyuga : "that's not true. you're really good cook. well, not as good as i am, though"

Yuki   : "do you cook too, Hyuga?"

Hyuga : "yeah, i'm not like enya was brought up like a tender plant. i can do every kind of housework and

             i'm a fairly good cook"

Yuki : "is that so?"

Hyuga : "by the way, i'm good at making tea. i'm thristy.. let's have some tea in the kitchen"

saying so, Hyuga took me by the arm

Hyuga : "you'll join me"

The tea that Hyuga made was really delicious, i began to unwind and feel more at ease

Yuki   :"this is strange tea"

Hyuga : "it has a calming effect, it'll help you sleep"

Yuki   : "is this tea, for me?"

Hyuga : "no, i wanted  to have some myself"

Hyuga replied to me lightly but.. feeling Hyuga's consideration, i felt warm and happy inside

Yuki   : "how is your shoulder injury?"

Hyuga : "its just a scratch"

Yuki   : "have you treated it?"

Hyuga : "you.."

Hyuga looked at me in amazement

Hyuga : "you should worry about yourself with your lost memory instead of me"

Yuki    : "that's true, but i'm concerned about you as well.."

Hyuga : "okay"

Hyuga sighned and opened up his clothes

Hyuga : "if you're going to make such a worrisome face, reapply some more ointment"

I brought the medical chest and carefully applied ointment  to the shoulder wound. (really firm body.. being so close looking at a man's body, my heart began to beat a little faster)

Hyuga : "don't get excited at my naked body"

Yuki    : "i..i'm not!"

I blushed and said that in a loud voice

Hyuga : "what.. one moment crying and the next blushing. you're a busy girl"

Question:

do you think i'm childish?

yuki : "do you think i'm childish?"

Hyuga :"no doubt about it, you're a kid"

Hyuga answered expressionlessly

Hyuga : "but you're kid of fun to watch. you can kill our boredom"

Yuki    : "kill your boredom?"

Hyuga : "yeah, so stay here for awhile. you don't have to be in hurry to leave"

Yuki    : "...."

After being silent for awhile, i opened my mouth

Yuki   : "but.."

Hyuga : "really, you complain about every little thing!"

Hyuga pulled me by the ear and screamed in my ear

Hyuga : "i want to eat your cooking! so, stay here until your memory return!! is that OK with you?"

Yuki     : "you're hurting my ear"

Hyuga  : "your answer?"

Yuki    :"yes.."

I looked at Hyuga and nodded slightly. (i was honestly happy that Hyuga stopped me. if i leave, there no place for me to go. i also don't know when my memory will return. perhaps, my memory may never return. while i'm here, i'll try and do whatever i can) with my mind made up, i looked at Hyuga squarely in the face

Yuki    : "thank you Hyuga"

Hyuga : "i haven't done anything in particular that you should thank me for"

Yuki    : "you've made me some delicious tea'

Hyuga : "you can be happy with just tea? you're an easy girl"

Hyuga stared back at me as if making fun of me

Hyuga : " are you really princess of a noble family?"

Yuki    : "..i don't know"

Hyuga : "you look like a noble by your appearance and behavior. but you strangely know a lot of things 

             and on the inside you are like a commoner, really, who are you and where are you from?"

(i don't know my self.. who i am and where i'm from)

Hyuga : "well, yoshitsune probably fell in love with that strange part of you"

Yuki    :"f..fell in love?"

Hyuga : "thick-headed"

Hyuga gave me a searching glance

Hyuga : "you're really dense, which mean its certain that you don't know men"

Yuki    : "..."

(its impossible that.. Yoshitsune the son of genji, likes me particularly when nobody knows who i am and where i'm from...)

Yuki   : "you're mistaken Hyuga"

Hyuga : "Mistaken..? that'd be nice if true"

Hyuga murmured in a voice without emotion

Yuki : "..."

I was puzzled and gazed at Hyuga's face
