<<Chapter 7 scene 1 >>

Nath    : ( Today is the sixth day..)

Tomorrow would make a week since i had left center of town to take refuge in the villa

Nath   : (at first i thought i might be able to enjoy it as a vacation, but.. i'm more confined than i thought i

             would be-it feels like i'm choking)

A guard came even when i went to the washroom or take a bath, so i had no time to rest at all

Nath   : ( the guards are doing their work too, and there's the situation, so there's no helping it though)

I understood it in my head, but i was starting to feel frustrated because i wanted to divert my attention a little

Nath   : ( it might have been fine if there had at least been somebody for me to talk to..)

As the guards took their jobs very seriously, i felt alone even though i was surrounded by ten of them

Guard  : "Mada, where shall i take you?"

When i walked through the hall, a tall guard called out to me

Nath      : (t-that was surprising..how long had he been standing behind me?)

Guard    : "madam?"

Nath      : "eh? u-um, i just want to go around the villa, but can i take strolls?"

Guard    :"..i apologize. so as to avoid any worst-case scenarios,it would be appreciated if you would keep

               within the villa.."

the guard said taht politely after a small sigh. however, he had replied with unrelenting intimidation

Nath     : "..i'm sorry. i just wanted to go out a bit since i've been stuck in this villa for so long"

Guard   : "i apologize if i am saying too much, but it would be greatly appreciated it if you could think of this

               as all for your protection madam"

Nath     : "..yes, i'll return to my room"

Guard   : "i apologize for the inconvenience, but thank you for the cooperation"

Nath     : "i was rejected, as expected"

it was what i had thought would happen, but it really was a big shock for the part of me that had been hoping i'd be allowed out

Nath : (i know that i'm just troubling the guards with my selfishness, but..)

Nath :"maybe i'll watch TV. Nah, maybe not"

Up until a few days ago, i had watched TV a lot to kill time. However, i stopped that after watching the evening news

Commentator : "Mr. Michael Jones appears excellent, but after his inauguration, an incident like this occured..? He must also understand taht those who will be affected by the restructuring also have their own lives, yes?

I got angry when i heard people talking as if Michael had decide on restructuring without thinking about anything at all

Nath  : ( they don't know how troubled Michael had been..)

*ring tone*

When i was just standing sround doing nothing, i heard my phone ringing from my pocket

Nath  : (who could it be..?)

Phone calls from Michael came late at night, when i didn't know if the date had changed yet or not. that's why it wouldn't be from him

Nath : "ah, johannes.."

Johannes had been the one calling me ever since the morning i came to the villa

Nath       : "hello? johannes?"

Johannes : "oh, nath?"

Nath        : "it's my phone, so of course it's me, right?"

johannes  : "you said 'Johannes? ' Too, didn't you? well, forget about that. How's living in the villa?"

Nath        : "..well, i'm living pleasantly"

Johannes  : "it is the jones family villa"

Nath        : "do you know where this villa is?"

Johannes  : "yeah, i went to a party there once"

Nath        : "i see.."

Johannes  : "but since it's surrounded by a forest, i was a bit scared there at night"

Nath        : "eh? even you feel scared, Johannes?"

Johannes  : "not now! that was  when i i was still in elementary school, okay? i wasn't scared just because 

                  there was a dense forest"

Nath        : "ahaha. that's a bit unexpected. anyway, did you need anything from me?"

Johannes  : "no, not really.. i was just wondering how you were"

Nath        : "thanks for worrying about me. there are a lot of guards, so i'm fine"

Johannes  : "you're really not cute at all at times like this"

Nath        : "eh?"

Johannes  : "eventhough you're actually anxious and scared, you're acting brave and pretending to be fine"

Nath        : ".."

<<Chapter 7 scene 3 >>

Johanes : "plus it's full of guards there, right?if it were me, i'd feel like i was choking and want to escape
Nath      : "if it were you, Johaness, u'd probably really do that
Johanes : "maybe"
Nath     : "..were you worried about me?"
Johanes : "of course, i was wondering whether it'd be okay for me to call you for a change"
Nath      : "Johanes? it's going to be heavy rain tomorrow"
Johanes : "wow, isn't that were you're supposed to say, you were that worried about me and have your heart
                skip a beat?"

I feel myself cheering up from hearing Johanes bright voice

Nath      : (though Johanes usually just gets carried away with everything, i can really rely on him at times like
                 this..)
Johanes : "at any rate, the situation worse, never mind a resolution"
Nath      : "eh? worse..?"
Johanes : "..have you not heard anything from that guy?"
Nath      : "well.. Michael only told me that the situation hasn't been resolved yet.."
Johanes : "..man, thats guy is definitely going to talk my ear off for this"
Nath      : "so, what are you talking about?"
Johanes : "..."
Nath      : "tell me Johanes! i hate being the only person who doesn't know anything!"
Johanes  : "we don't know who mastermind is yet or what their goal is, but it seems like the person who
                 made the shot was probably a professional killer"
Nath       : " a professional killer?"

There was too big  a difference in the world that i couldn't grasp the idea right away

Nath      :(come to think of it..)
Johanes : "but one of your guards said that the shooter missed on purpose"

When Michael had been targeted, Johanes told me that a jones family guard said that

Johanes : "if it really was a professional killer who targeted him.. the mastermind should be outside of the
                departement being restructured says my dad"
Nath      : "johanes father did?"
Johanes : "think about it, if they just meant it as a warning, there was a lot of other methods, right?"
Nath      : "could you give me an example?"
Johanes : "..t-there are a lot! how would i know?"
Nath      : "even though you were the only one who said it. why are you getting mad..!"
Johanes  : " anyway, just understande that there are  other methods! don't ask me!"

Nath      : "i-i get it, so don't talk so loudly on the phone"
Johanes : "anyway! you guys are wrapped up in something more dangerous than you think
Nath      : "..."
Johanes : "it really might be better for you to leave the country until things calm down"
Nath      : "i think that Michael would definitely say that he would stay in america.."
Johanes : "probably.. and if he's staying, then you'll end up staying too"
Nath      : "..."
Johanes : "both of you should really be careful. Want me to send a guard too? master guard Johaness will
                protect you, nath"
Nath      : " you'd end up in dangerous too, Johaness, so its fine"
Johanes : "but i'm confident i could protect you better than ur sister-in-law of a brother, you know"
Nath     : "Michael will get mad again if you call him sister-in-law"
Johanes: " yes, yes, i know. more importantly, do you remember what i told you?"
Nath     : " what you told me?"
Johanes : "what? don't tell me you forgot"
Nath     : "ah, do you mean when you told me to rely on you when i'm troubled?"
johanes : "oh, then you do remember, really though, don't hold back for no reason and just realy on me"
Nath     : "...okay, thank you"
Johanes : "then, i'll call you again! i might sneak in late at night next time"
Nath      : "i'll tell the guards to clear the house of you then"
Johanes : "what, you're treating me like that too?"
Nath      : " hehe i'm kidding, its a bit difficult now, but i want to talk properly once things have calmed down
johanes : "..yeah, bye then"
Nath     : "okay. thanks for talking with me"

i hung up with a click of button

Nath : ( was what johanes said true? about a professional killer targeting Michael..)

it wasn't that i doubted johanes, its just that i couldn't easily believe in a world with professional killer which felt like it had nothing to do with me at all

*ring tone*

Nath: (eh? a text this time?)

Mike : Nath, i'm busy today so i can't call
Nath : (.. no phone call from Michael today)

Question :
       stupid Michael! u're liar!
       Theres no helping it, since its work [+20]
       i'll try calling him myself

Nath : (..there's no helping it, since its work)

maybe it was because of what i'd heard from johanes, but i really wanted to hear Michael's voice. However i put up with that feeling

Nath : (i don't want to bother him, so i'll try calling him tomorrow ) since i end up thinking about things
           i dont need to think about when i'm awake. i'll go to sleep early for today.

i slipped into teh bed and rested my head on the comfortable mattress, closing my eyes tightly

Nath : (what was that sound..?)

i could hear something that sounded like somebody walking inside the room, so i sat up on my bed while i was still half-a sleep

Man : "dont move!"
Nath : "ahh!"

at the same time that the low voice spoke, a knife which shone in the moonlight was held up against my neck.

Man : " dont make any noise, i dont really plan on killing you, u're just a hostage to lure that guy out. i'll let
           you go once i'm done
Nath : (by that guy, does  he mean michael? is he saying he targeted me to get to michael?)

at this rate, michael would be in danger, i had to run away somehow

man   :" there's no point in trying  to run away "
Nath : "eh..eh.."

something covered my eyes

man : "it doesnt really matter to me whether your eyes are covered or not, but you wont be a good
          hostage if anything happens to you"
Nath :"ahh..! let..go.."

i struggled against the man to try and escape, but as i breathe in the gas, i started losing consciousness

Nath : (michael..)
Mike : nath!"

when i was about to completely lose my consciousness, i heard the sound of a door opening violently and michael voice
