Guard : "Mada, are you heading out?"
After i finished my preparations, the security guard at the door called out to me as i left my room
Nath : "i was invited out by JOhanes, so i was thinking of going out for a bit"
Guard : "...i cannot highly recommend going out with him"
Nath : (hm? is he saying that the problem isn't going out but going out with johanes?)
Guard : "it would be dangerous as i have geard that he previously lost your security guard"
Nath : "its fine, Johanes said that he wouldn't do that this time"
Guard : "nevertheless.."
The guard was hesitant about letting me go with Johanes, perhaps because of what had happened before
Nath : (did Mike possibly say something to him?)
i doubt the guard would be this hesitant about letting me go out with Johanes if it were just about the incident last time
Nath : "did mike possibly say something to you?"
Guard : "..that is not the case"
Nath : (as i thought, Mike said something to him)
there had been a pause before the guard replied. plus, he had looked away a little. it was very possible that mike had said something to the guards
Nath : (jeez, Mike worries too much..)
*ringtone*
Nath : "hello?"
Johanes : "nath? i'm at the entrance"
Nath : "okay, i'll come out right away"
Johanes : "got it"
i hung up and several guards hurriedly went to prepare the car
Guard : "madam, please do not think of trying to lose us again"
Nath : "i understand. i'm scared too, what with the incident that occured, so i want you to guard me"
Guard : "thats is very well then.."
Johanes : "did the guard say something to you?"
Nath : "he did. he said he couldn't recommend going out with you"
Johanes : "whoa. that guy definitely said something about me"

johanes : "at least deny it. anyway, where should we go?"
Nath : "hm. the guards will be there too, so maybe somewhere with a lot of people"
Johanes : "though i feel rather like bringing you to a placer where nobody else is there"
Nath : "johanes!"
Johanes : "i get it. if i did something like that, i definitely wouldn't be allowed to meet you any more"
Nath : "let's not let that happen. i'd be lonely too if i couldn't meet with you any more, johanes"
Johanes : "..."
Nath : "johanes?"
Johanes : "..you're really cruel since you're not even conscious of what you're doing"
Nath : "what? what are you talking about?"
Johanes : "it's nothing
Johanes : "i'll order the pasta combo"
Nath : "what should i have?"
Johanes : "you've been trying to decide this whole time, but you still haven't decided?"
Nath : "i can't help it! the pasta combo you ordered sounds delicious, but this pilaf sounds delicious too.."
Johanes : "..then one pilaf combo"
Nath : "ah! why are you ordering it!"
waitress : "will you be having the pasta combo and the pilaf combo then?"
Nath : "..yes"
After the waitress left the table, i glared at johanes
Nath : "even though i wanted the pasta combo too.."
johanes : "i'll give you some of mine, so you ca have the pilaf"
Nath : "..eh?"
Johanes : "you want to eat both right? i'll split mine with you, so you can have both"
Nath : "johanes.."
Johanes : "but you can't have half. i'll give you a little, so you can only eat a little!"
Nath : "half is fine, isn't it! i'll give you half of mine too"
Johanes : "i hate pilaf! why would you have rice in something so soppy?"
Nath : "hey, if you something like that, you'll make people who like pilaf your enemies"
Johanes : "i'm just saying the truth"
Johanes : "i'm just saying the truth"
Nath : "jeez, johanes, you're just saying what you like as usual"
johanes : "that's one of my good qualities, right?"
Nath : "though its a bad quality too"
Johanes : "..its just like you to say that"
Nath : "..."
Johanes : "..."
nath : (what should i do? there's nothing to talk about)
even though johanes never got quiet like this usually
Nath : (..johanes is looking away without saying anything) "hey johanes"
waitress : "i apologize for the wait, your pasta combo and pilaf combo"
just then i was thinking of speaking up, the waitress brought the two combo meals
Nath : (i lost my chance to talk..)
johanes : "but you're the same as usual"
Nath : "eh? how am i the same as usual?"
Johanes : "even though i invited you out to eat, you chose a place like this"
Nath : "...you just want to say i have common tastes , right?"
johanes : "well"
Nath : "at least deny it"
Johanes : "well, its the truth, anyway, here"
He gracefully twirled pasta around his fork and held it out towards me
Nath : "um,w-wait.. i can eat it myself"
Johanes : "its fine. come on, hurry up and eat it"
Nath : (he definitely enjoying himself)
i wolfed it down as quickly as possible
Johanes : "thats not sexy at all"
johaness said that as he stifled his laughter
Johanes : "hey nath, do you really love him?"
Nath : "eh?"
johanes : "to put it bluntly, it'd be right on the mark to say you were targeted"
Nath : "..."
Johanes : "you were targeted because you were the daughter of the jones family, right? so if you gave up
being a jones, you'd be less likely to the targeted, right?"
Nath : "give up being the daughter.. what do you mean?"
johanes : "that, Nath..!"
Suddenly, Johanes stood up, pushed me out of my chair and covered me
Johanes : "..urgh"
Nath :"wha..hey, johanes! what.."
when i hit johanes back, i felt something wet on my hand
Nath : "..johanes?"
when i timidly opened my eyes
Waitress : "aaaahhh!!"
the waitress screamed and dropped the pates she was holding, they shattered against the ground. However, the sight in front of me was so devastating that i didn't hear the waitress or the sound of the plates shattering. johanes back, which had shielded me, was dyed a deep red
Johanes : "..are you all right? you;re all right.. i'm glad"
johanes forced a smile on his face to try to relieve me
Guard 1 : "madam! tou, go chase the man who ran away!"
A guard rushed over and tore johanes and me apart
Nath : (johanes!)
johaness back was dyed red because he had protected me when i was the one who had been targetted
Nath : "no, this.. if this is a joke, it's an awful one, Johanes!"

johanes rest a hand on my cheek as if to calm me down
johanes : "i dont want to make you have that sort of expression.. i want you to.. always be smiling..
even though that white dress looked so good on you.."
Johanes groaned as he looked at my dress. My dress which had been pure wghite was now dyed deep red at the middle and the hem
Nath : "i'm sorry, i'm sorry.. because of me!"
johanes : "you really.. you apologize all the time, its just like you.."
Nath : "johanes?"
man : "excuse me! please move away!"
an ambulance worker pushed me aside, put johanes on a stretcher, and carried him towards the ambulance
man : "are yoou his acquaintance?"
Nath : "y-yes..!"
man : "then please come as well"
Guard : "madam, we will come with you"
one guard helped me up, we got on the ambulance together
guard 1 :"you, contact sir. i will contact him as well once we arrive at the hospital"
Guard 2:"understood
Nath : (johanes was injured because of me..)
what would i do in the worst case scenario, if johanes..?
Nath : (johanes have always been there for me, but what if i lose him?i dont want that)
Mike : "nath!"
guard : "sir"
Mike : "...whats his condition?"
guard : "he is now undergoing emergency surgery and in an unpredictable condition.."
mike : "i see.."
Mike let out a small sigh and then started yelling at the guards at the top of his voice
Mike : "what the hell were you doing! why didn't protect nath? how did that guy end up getting injured!"
Guard : "..we sincerely apologize"
Nath : "mike"
Mike : "nath.. are you okay?"
Nath : "i'm fine, since Johanes protected me.."
Mike : "..."
Nath : "somebody had targeted me, and johanes ended up injured instead.. there was so much blood.."
Mike : "nath.."
Nath : "what should i do, Mike..what should i do if johanes dies!"
Mike : "don't think about stupid things"
Nath : "its not something stupid! johanes got injured instead of me!even though all i've done is hurt johanes, he.."
Mike : "hey, calm down.."
Nath : "what should i do if johanes dies.. what should i do?"
Mike : "nath!"
Mike grasped my shoulders and shook me as he called my name.
Miek : "pull yourself together! how is geting worked up like that going to help!"
Nath : "..i know,. but i can't calm down!"
Mike : "...i'll call the BYC president. watch over Nath properly. dont disappoint me again"
Guard : "understood"
i could hear Mike's footsteps heading off far away, but i couldn't care about something like that right now
Nath : (johanes, i'm begging you.. don't die, Johanes!)
Just when i strongly wished for that, the operation light went off
johanes : "but you're the same as usual"
Nath : "eh? how am i the same as usual?"
Johanes : "even though i invited you out to eat, you chose a place like this"
