Destiny Ninja : Hyuga 

Yuki : "hold on.. let go of me!"

I kept kicking and screaming as Enya carried me around on his shoulder

Enya : "no"

Yuki : "no? i'm going to yell for help!"

Enya : "aren't you already yelling?"

Yuki : "Enya! please, stop! this isn't funny!"

Enya : "and what if i'm not joking?"

Enya looked stared directly at me as he spoke

Enya : "is there anyone that you're interested in?"

Yuki : "no.. no, not at all! i don't have time for that. My memory hasn't even returned yet.."

Enya : "don't you remember what Yoshitsune said? you can stay here as long as you like and what would be wrong with staying here as my woman?"

("my woman" How disgusting...)

Yuki : "no thank you!!"

Enya : "huh! you're an odd one, if my charm isn't turning you on there must be something wrong with you!"

whoosh!

Donk!

Enya : "ow!"

A stone suddenly came out of nowhere and hit Enya right in the head! i slipped out of his arms the moment that he stooped down

Hyuga : "of course she's odd. she lost her memory. there's not a thing in her head right now"
Enya   : "You..What are you doing throwing stones?"
Hyuga : "Would you have preferred a boulder?"

As soon as he spoke, Hyuga grabbed my arm firmly

Hyuga : "Let's go"
Yuki   : "Go where...?"
Hyuga : "Just come with me"

Hyuga : "i'm taking you away from Enya"
Yuki   : "Thank.. thank you"

As i bowed my head down to him, Hyuga was staring at me intensely

Hyuga : "As i said before, do not misunderstand me. I do not care what happens between you and Enya"
Yuki   : "...."
Hyuga : "I have simply been ordered by Yoshitsune to protect you. It is my duty to see that not even a fly
              lay its touch upon you"

Hyuga then let out a heavy sigh

Hyuga : "ugh.. how did i get stuck with such a job"
Yuki   : "I'm sorry"

(I already know this. Hyuga isn't here because he wants to. He's only around me to fulfil his duty). The orders of a ninja's master are abosolute.. (So even though i already know this.. why do i have butterflies in my stomach?)

The next day, while i was still asleep in my bed, i felt something warm against my neck

???? : "Pant Pant Pant.."

(what is that heavy breathing?) Before i knew it, A large tongue was licking my lips

Yuki     : "Whoaa!!"
Dog      : "Woof!"
Yuki     : "A dog?"
Hyuga  : "Pochi! Don't just run into people's rooms!"

Hyuga slipped into the room through the open window

Yuki : "Hyuga.. what is this?"
Hyuga : "Pochi. She's my pet ninja dog"

(A ninja dog..)

Hyuga : "I had her deliver the rpeort to the village..She came back this morning"
Yuki    : "really? She delivered the report..."
Hyuga : "Enya was supposed to have written it, but he avoided doing it. He's just like a spoiled child"

As he spoke, Hyuga briskly patted pochi on the head

Hyuga : "You're a good kid, unlike Enya"
Yuki    : "She sure does seem bright. I was just shocked to have my lips licked all of sudden.."
Hyuga : "What, did you think that  i was the one doing it?"
Yuki    : "Of.. of course not!"
Hyuga : "I have never thought about going after you. Not even once!"

(He had quite a strong tone, even though he had no need to deny it,,)

Pochi   : "Woof!"
Hyuga : "Good girl. you must have been lonely while you were away"

(He was smiling. Although, i have never seen that smile directed at me..)

Yuki    : "you two sure do get along well"
Hyuga : "Yeah. I found her abandoned in mountains and raised her as a ninja dog. Actually, i found you in
              the mountains too. Perhaps you two try to get along"
Yuki    : "Okay, okay"

Putting my hand out to pet Pochi, she happily lunged my way and began licking my face

Yuki    : "Okay, okay, i get it.. come on, calm down.."
Hyuga : "haha! i think you have some nectar from the flowers stuck in your hair"

(Whenever Pochi is around, Hyuga is just like a little boy"

yuki    : "Have you always liked dogs this much?"
Hyuga : "Probably more than i do people"
Yuki    : "why?"
Hyuga : "because dogs never lie"

(dogs never lie..) even tough his response was quick, those words resonated within me and left quite the impact. (So Hyuga thinks all people are liars?Someonne must have deceived or backstabbed him..)

Enya          : "There have been no publicy known threats made towards Yoshinaka Kiso"
Yoshitsune : "I believe that Yoshinaka will not be lulled i by the Taira Clan's talk"

(That conversation that happened between Noritsune and Munemori at the Taira Mansion..)

Taira Noritsune : "Defeating the prestigious Yoshitsune, setting aim for the Minamoto clan's head seat..if he
                            is an honest samurai, I can't imagine those words would lure him"
Taira Munemori : "But he did respond to the meeting. He is a shallow man, different from Yoshitsune,
                            there's nothing odd about him being drawn in by sweet words"

Kazemasa : "will all due respect, Yoshitsune would not like to think Yoshinaka would be lured in by The
                   Taira Clain, no?yoshinaka is almost like a cousin to Yoshitsune.."

Upon hearing this, Yoshitsune silently nodded

Yoshitsune : "yes. It is likely just as Kazemasa says. I was raised without knowing my family.. because of
                    that, I would not like to think i have been betrayed by immediate family. However.. supposing
                   that yoshinaka does turn, there is no way that he would make a frontal attack"
Hyosuke   : "If that is the case, we would have no choice but to strike back! if they attacked, that would then
                    be the perfect reason to assault against Yoshinaka!"
Yuki          : "..."

(but.. if that were to happen we would alsi fall to the Minanoto Clan)

Yoshitsune : "Is there something you want to say, Yuki?"
Yuki          : "N..No..Nothing.."
Yoshitsune : "Don't hold back. If you have something to say, it's best to say it. I would like to lend my ears
                     to anything, even if it is a mere opinion"

I began to speak just as Yoshitsune had ordered

Yuki : "i.. i am aware of soldiers of Yoshinaka's army who are uncomfortable with his actions. They have
           been paying no heed to overthrowing the Taira clan and instead focus on the throne. They oppress
           the people and hold secret meetings against the Taira Clan..Those soldiers who are losing their faith
           in Yoshinaka are wishing to join Yoshitsune's army. Aren't they a lot of people who are wishing for
            that?"
Enya : "What a clearly cultured princess!"

Enya smacked me square across the face

Enya          : "Yoshinaka's army is no force like ours is. It is likely they fear Yoshinaka and would dare say
                     nothing out loud. Yet, their admiration is gone. What it is is that most would not wish to
                    oppose Yoritomo"
Yoshitsune : "As for me, I do not wish to reduce the power of the Minamoto Army"
Enya          : "Suppose Yoshinaka is lured by their words. What do you suppose that Yoritomo would do?"
Yoshitsune : "He.. He would surely order Yoshinaka to kill himself"

(If that were to happy, the soldiers without a leader would likely flow into Yoshitsune's army. His army strength would increase and he would be able to corner the Taira Clan. Then if the Taira Clan were defeated, it would be Yoshitsune's name to go down in history..) I stared at Yoshitsune as i imagined  that future

As Hyuga and I were about to return to our rooms, Yoshitsune called out

Yoshitsune : "Yuki. You surprise me earlier with your ability to articulate so well. This is the first time that
                     i met a lady such as yourself"
Yuki          : "No. I must apologize for my disrespectful behavior. I am a mere commoner"
Yoshitsune : "Your social standing is irrelevant. Regardless, i do not think of you that way. I really do
                    wonder who you are"

I am probably not royalty

Yuki : "....."

(I'd like to know as well, but i just cannot remember now..I just may never regain my memories) As a depressed look came across my face, Yoshitsune laid his hands upon my shoulders

Yoshitsune : "My apologies, It doesn't matter to me who you are"
Yuki          : "Yoshitsune.."
Yoshitsune : "No matter who you are, I am still very luck to have met you, Yuki"

Yoshitsune gave me a warm smile

Yoshitsune : "Have you spoken with the maids? They are really glad that you have come here. You've been
                    a real help with the cooking and housework"
Yuki          : "Thank you"
Hyuga        : "I too must bow my head to you. It is wonderful that you have taken the initiative to assist in
                    those areas.."
Yoshitsune : "Ah, yes. I would like you to continue to support her from now on"
Hyuga        : "Yes, Sir. I understand"

As soon as Yoshitsune had left, Hyuga gave me a sharp slap over the head

Hyuga : "hmm. Where is that greatness he's talking about?"
Yuki    : "You said it yourself, didn't you!"
Hyuga : "Of course you should be helping like that, and it's only natural you'd work hard"
Yuki    : "...."
Hyuga : "However.. Those boiled potatoes last time weren't bad. I could eat those again"

I looked at Hyuga, completely dumbfounded

Yuki    : "You.. You sure aren't the submissive type"
Hyuga : "Don't be brash"

Giving me an intense look, Hyuga suddenly pinched my cheek

Yuki    : "Ow! I told you to stop that!"
Hyuga : "You and Yoshitsune are too submissive"
Yuki    : "Yoshitsune is?"
Hyuga : "He will even honestly listen to the opinion of his vassals. So just like you, He know nothing of
             doubting people. That temperament..."
Yuki    : "What was that?"
Hyuga : "...Nothing"

At that moment, Hyuga stopped talking. When he is in front of Yoshitsune, Hyuga does not say much. He hides his true feelings and plays the perfect advisor, (It seems he doesn't like to reveal his true feelings to anyone..)

Hyuga : "So, your cooking.."
Yuki   : "huh?"
Hyuga : "You must have learned that from your mother"
Yuki   : "...I can't remember, but that's probably the truth"
Hyuga : "It seems likely your parents were quite the people. Daughters of royalty are usually brought up
              tenderly, even spoiled. However, your parents did not only teach you about cooking and
              cleaning,but of war and government as well. That sort of Royalty doesn't really exist"

(Yet i cannot even recall their faces..)

Yuki   : "If they are gone, I shall never meet them..I really would like to know what kind of people they
             were"
Hyuga : "..True. It would be nice if you regained your memories and remembered your parents"
Yuki   : "Yoshitsune also does not know his father, right?"
Hyuga : "Right. His father, Yoritomo was defeated by the Taira Clan when Yoshitsune was only two years
              old. His mother, Tokiwa Gozen was captured by Kiyomori Taira and made into a concubine"
Yuki    : "...!!"
Hyuga : "No wonder he hates the Taira Clan then"

(I had heard that he was separated from his family as a child, but..I had no idea his past was that horrific..)

Yuki : "But Yoshitsune does not seem to be in poor spirit"
Hyuga : "That is just his outer appearance, He hides his true feelings well. His childhood memories are quite intense, after all"

There was a sadness in Hyuga's eyes as he whispered. What about Hyuga's parents?I wanted to ask, but I refrained

Afterwards, as i was taking a bath I recalled the conversation

*Hyuga : "His childhood memories are quite intense, after all"

I wonder why Hyuga seemed so sad as he said that

Yuki : "I've been in here too long.. I need to get out or i might end up fainting"

Splash. The moment i stepped out of the bathub-

Rattle Rattle

Enya : "Is someone there?"
Yuki : "!?"
Enya : "don't shout"

Enya quickly ran up to me and covered my mouth with his hand

Enya : "In my case, it because though i'd really be attacked"
Yuki : "Hrmph..!"
Enya : "I'm looking the other way. Put your clothes on quickly"

I hastily grabbed my kimono, wrapped it around myself and tied the sash

Enya : "Are you done?"
Yuki : "Y..Yes"
Enya : "Okay"
Yuki : "huh!?E..Enya! Put on your clothes!"

I couldn' help but cry out once i turned around and saw him

Enya : "What? you are such a pain,, i'm fine like this"

The only two things Enya was wearing was a hand towel and a broad, audacious grin

Enya : "I saw a bit by accident, but you have an outstanding body"
Yuki : "WHAT..!"
Enya : "A late blooming daughter of royalty.. How exciting"

I brushed away Enya's arm as he tried to put me over his shoulder again

Enya : "Huh. You're a strong one. That's new to me. I think i like it"
Yuki : "...."
Enya : "All the other women have been easier, that made it boring"
Yuki : "Is spending time with women just simple playtime for you, Enya?"
Enya : "Yeah, it  is"

Enya nodded as he answered as if it were natural

Enya : "Up until now, I have never once met a woman who i could really fall in love with"

(A woman who he could really fall in love with.. I wonder about Hyuga)

Yuki : "..."

(Why am i suddenlythinking about Hyuga at a time like this?)

Enya : "What's wrong?"
Yuki : "Nothing
Enya : "C'mon. tell me"
Yuki : "well.. I was just wondering if Hyuga was like you"
Enya : "Wait, a minute. Are you in love with Hyuga?"
Yuki : "Of..Of course not!"
Enya : "It'll be rough if you're in love with him. Dunno what you're thinking"
Yuki : "..."
Enya : "We grew up as childhood friends but even now i have no idea what he is really thinking. You can't tell his true feelings..."
Yuki : "Is that really true?"
Enya : "well.. Our circumstances growing up were entirely different. I was the son of a chieftain and had a
          comfortable life. Hyuga was the opposite, He was an Orphan and had a hard life"
Yuki : "An orphan? Are you saying that Hyuga has no parents?"
Enya : "Right. When he was young he lost his parents and the chief of the village of the flame took him in.
           I have no idea about all the details of that, though. You could ask him, but he won't say anything
           about it"
Yuki : "..."
Enya : "He was raised in the way of the ninja, showing amazing talent and power. Then he rose to where he is now"

(I had no idea his past was like that,..)

Yuki : "A while ago i heard something from Hyosuke, actually..Hyuga rose to the top of many lower ranking
          ninjas just by his power alone"
Enya : "Now, Hyosuke, he's easy to understand. Of course, he's an idiot"
Yuki : "..."
Enya : "Then again, that would make him a good husband"

If Hyuga wants to ignore me for being shocked at his past, then he can do as he pleases

Enya : "Kazemasa is a man of few words and stubborn. Boring too..Of course he's the one who will
           probably rise the highest. well, then who do you choose?"
