Forbidden Love : Mike 2nd story

Nath : (Johanes seemed a little strange- i wonder what was wrong..)

I watched as Johanes's car went into the distance and thought about what had just happened. He wasn't like usual.. No, Johanes had been too cheerful today - It made me feel uncomfortable. Plus, he began to say something only to not it until the end

Nath : (Though i think there are things he wouldn't be able to say to me.. or things he wouldn't want to say to me...When i think about the reason, i guess it was because of today)

No matter how cheerful he behaved, Johanes might have been hurt to the point that it made his behavior awkward too

Nath : ( i wanted to ask about what he was trying to say, but i'm no longer qualified to do that)

When i got back to the estate, Mike was talking with someone on the phone

Mike : "It's rare for you to call me.. Now? No, i'm already at the estate, so it's not like i can't go..."

Nath : "Mike?"

Mike : "..!"

When i spoke up to him, Mike suddenly looked shocked and signalled at me to wait

Mike : "mmhm, okay i see. I'll go there right away. Hm.. Should be there in about thirty minutes"

Nath : "Are you heading out now?"

After i was sure Mike had hung up, I spoke up to Him

Mike : "yeah"

Nath : "Work?"

Mike : "..yeah. Sorry, but i have to go out right away"

Nath : "o-okay"

Mike : "I might be late, so you can go rest first"

Nath : "..okay, be careful then"

Mike took his car key out of his pocket and rushed out of the estate

Nath : "That's strange..He said it was rare for the person to call him, so i thought it wasn't work"

But he'd rushed out, so it might have really been a call from work

Nath : (There's no reason for Mike to lie to me, so it's probably just my imagination)

Nath : "Robert, is Mike still not back yet?"

Even after i had taken a bath and eaten dinner, I still didn't see Mike

Robert : "No, no yet. I received a phone call earlier saying that he would be a little late.."

Nath    : "..i see" (I was going to tell Mike about what happened today though. I can't do that if he's not here. There's no helping it, i'll give up for today and tell him tomorrow)

I put the plain plush monkey on top of my desk. It didn't match with the extravagent room

Nath : (Hehe, this monkey is so different from its surrounds that it's a bit strange)

Johanes might get mad if i told him this, but he was also the same and then...There was the picture JOhanes had drawn

Nath : (This picture is kind of mysterious. My heart feels warm just from looking at it)

In the picture, I was smiling gently and holding out a hand. I felt  a bit embarrassed looking at it since it was a picture of me, but the picture made me feel like i wanted to look at it for as long as i could

Nath : "hm? something's written on the back"

When i looked on the other side, I noticed small letters written on it

Johanes : "It'd be embarrassing to say this out loud, so i'm writting it here. You didn't end up choosing me, but everyday i spent with you was seriously fun. I'm really happy that i was able to meet you, Nath. So, you should get along with that guy and be happier with him than you were with me"

Nath : "Johanes..."

I could tell from the picture and  those words just how much Johanes cared for me

Nath : (...Thank you, Johanes)

Robert : "Sir, the madam said earlier that she would be heading to bed.."

Mike : "it's an emergency"
Nath : (what's that? it's a bit noisy in the hall..)

Mike : "Nath!"

Nath : "Aah! M-mike!?"

Mike threw the door open and came into my room

Nath : "Did you just come home? You worked hard today"

Mike : "change right now"

Nath : "eh? why all of a sudden?"

Mike : "Just hurry up! i'll explain in the car"

Nath : "i-i get it..."

Mike : "There's no time for you to put on make up or anything, so just change. We won't make it in time"

Nath : (We won't make it in time..?why is Mike in such a rush...?)

Mike : "i'll be waiting in the car. Come to the entrance in five minutes"

Mike said just that and left the room

Nath : "Jeez, what is it..."

Mike : "Damn, we're late. I hope we can make it in time.."

Nath : "Hey, i don't know what happened, but you're going too fast"

Mike : "You went out with that idiot.. No, you went out with Johanes, right?"

Nath : (It's rare for Mike to call Johanes by his name) Y-yeah, i did. we went to the zoo"

Mike : "did you hear anything about from him then?"

Nath : "here anything about what?"

Mike : "..That he's going to France"

Nath : "eh? what.. i didn't hear anything about this"

Mike : "When you got back to the estate, I got a call from him"

*Mike : "Its rare for you to call me"

Nath : (So it was Johanes who had called him back then...)

Mike : "When i went to the appointed meeting place, he asked about the restrucuring as nonchalantly as 

            always. He was so frivolous about it i almost hit him, but..."

Nath : "but...?"

Mike : "...He said he'd transfer BYC to me"

Nath : "eh? T-transfer the company?"

Mike : "He said it'd be fine if i just transferred all the people affected by restructuring to BYC...There are 

           a great number of people, but BYC still be able to take them in.."

Nath : "B-but then what will happen to Johanes?There's no way that Johanes father would accept.."

Mike : "...it seems like he frantically persuaded his father, saying that he had no intention of taking over 

            the company. Of course i don't think he persuaded him easily, but..."

Nath : "Could going to France have something to do with it?"

Mike : "He submitted the painting of you into a contest, and it seems it caught the eyes of an artist in France"

Nath : "So, he said that he was invited to France to study" (I'm happy that Johanes painting is being 

           acknowledge, but his company..)

Mike : "He said that from the start, he went an arts university because he couldn't throw away his dream,

            to be an artist"

Nath : "...."

Mike : "get off here. You go first and find Johanes at all costs. I'll park the car"

Nath : "g-got it"

Nath : ( i said i got it, but i can't find him-there are too many people..!)

Even though it was late at night, the airport was filled with people who were waiting

Nath : ( I don't want to not be able to meet you again without even being able to say goobye, Johanes!)

*Johanes : "don't worry about me. At any rate...I wanted to hear that from you, then i can freely..Thank you 

                  for everything up until now"

It might have been conceited of me. However, I felt like i was a large part of the reason Johanes handed over his company

*Johanes : "A lot of things have happened because of this fuss with restructuring, but just be patient , since 

                  i think it'll end soon. So, after all this is finished, be happy with him"

Because he had supposed a conclusion like this, Johanes had took on an determined attitude

Nath : (Please, let me say thank you..!)

???   : "Nath?"

Nath : "eh?"

When i looked towards the source of the voice, i saw Johanes standing there, looking surprised

Johanes : "why are you here.."

Nath      : "...I heard from Mike"

Johanes : "that idiot. I told him not to tell you, and he broke his promise just like that..."

Nath     : "..Thank you" (There's so much i want to say, but i don't know where to start..)

Johanes : "That's more than enough"

Johanes said that while smiling, like he had seen sight through me

Johanes : "You've got your feeling across, so those words are more than enough already"

Mike     : "Nath!"

Nath      : "Mike..."

Mike      : "i'm glad we made it in time"

Johanes : "don't say you made it in time. I told you not to tell Nath, right?There's a limit to speaking without

                thinking, you know.."

Mike     : "...You really saved us this time. I'm sorry for being so rude before too. Thank you"

Mike deeply bowed his head towards Johanes

Johanes : "..."

Johanes was surprised by this too, and he stared at Mike with his mouth wide-open

Johanes : "don't do something so gross. Having you bow your head to me will give me nightmares, and do

               you really sorry about being rude?"

Mike     : "no"

Johanes : "an immediate reply?"
Mike      : "but it's true that you saved us this time. Let me know if there's anything i can do"

Johanes : "..anything?"

Mike     : "However, Nath is not included"

Nath      : "eek!"

Mike hugged me around my shoulders and had the audacity to smile

Johanes : "you said that before. Well, my story with Nath is over, anyway"

Nath      : "Johanes.."

Johanes : "Don't be conceited. I didn't hand over the company for you, Nath. I just handed it over because

                i'm going to France. So don't think that it's your fault, okay?"

Nath      : "Johanes.. thank you"

Johanes rapped his knuckles on my head and then turned towards Mike

johanes             : "I'm handing BYC over to you, so protect it with your life. Take care of the employees too"

Mike                : "Yeah it's the company you handed over me. I'll protect it at any cost"

Johanes            : "the press will probably have a field day, but don't lose to something like that"

Mike                : "I know"

Johanes            : "...and"

Announcement : "Flight 108 is now..."

Johanes            : "ah, that's my flight.."

Johanes grabbed his luggage and turned away from us

Nath      : "Johanes!"

Johanes : "..don't make Nath cry. You better make her happy"

Johanes mumbled that as he started walking away

Mike : "I will"

Nath : "Johanes! we'll meet again, right?"

Johanes answered my question by raising his hand up high

Nath : (Johanes, really, thank you..)
